Love these sponges!
These sponges are literally my favorite dish sponges I’ve ever used my husband even loves them. We are a two person household that does daily cooking and weekly food prep. We have a lot of dishes.Following their suggestions on removing food debris on dishes/pots before washing with the sponge by scraping or soaking then washing I’ve had no trouble with the sponge turning colors even after washing off turmeric or hanging onto food debris. I even gave a sponge to a friend to try and they were shocked at how much they loved it. We rinse the sponge clean after every use. They drain and dry well in a stand up sponge holder. The sponges don’t hold odors even after using them on greasy pots.As long as you take care of the sponge the way they suggest they last longer than any other “natural” manufactured sponge I’ve ever tried and they’re literally made from THE natural source instead of “of” natural ingredients. I love that they’re not packaged in plastic. They last surprising a very long time. The only complaint I have is that they do split on the edges but it doesn’t seem to make a difference in their performance. Which I wasn’t surprised about after all it is a loofah not in its original/natural shape or form. I thought I’d have to deal with shedding of the loofah material and haven’t had a problem with that either.I’ll stick with these sponges for life especially since I can throw them in compost or the bottom of plant pots when I’m done with them.

Perfect substitution for sponges
Love these, these are perfect. The size and shape are comfortable, and the manufacturing is durable.I was worried before I bought these that they might fall apart or the stitching would come loose, but no problems!! Mine last me just as long as a regular sponge (for us that's maybe switching them out each month). they feel cleaner than a regular sponge, food stuffs seem to wash/rinse out easily and I've never seen one change color or absorb food stuff color. We end up having to throw them out because the luffa starts to get softer or looser/begin to break down. The texture is just right to be soft enough for any material but textured enough to scrub. Packaging for the luffas are also biodegradable (outside of course of the Amazon shipping stuff).Love these.

Great alternative!
We are using this daily. It rinses easily and drys quickly. It is eco friendly too! I like it much better than a sponge.

Wanted to love
Okay I love the eco friendly aspect of these though it’s for sure not as strong as a regular sponge. With heavy dish use for two adults, it lasts four weeks max before it starts falling apart and has no scrub to it. I am always trying to find sustainable products, I wanted to love these, I kind of do, though may not buy again.

Great at scrubbing, but does not scratch
A loofah sponge can be used to clean all kinds of things because it is strong, but it will not scratch a delicate surface. The sponges look flat in the box. But when you soak them in water, they plump up to twice their size. I cleaned my bathtub with one of them. The loofah removed soap scum, dirt and stains from the tub. But I had to scrub really hard. You can use loofahs to clean countertops, floors, cars, and lots of other stuff. I did not wear gloves when I cleaned with the loofah, but maybe I should have, because . . .After I ordered this, I learned some surprising things. Articles on the internet say that you can clean a loofah sponge, but after you hang it up to dry in the air, bacteria might grow on it. The articles say that when you wash yourself with a loofah sponge, it is possible that you might be exposed to harmful bacteria. That is why dermatologists don't recommend using loofahs. Loofahs are also very harsh on the skin. Two days after I used one of these loofah sponges, it was still damp. They don't dry very well. When you wash dishes with a loofah, perhaps the dish soap sanitizes the loofah. But I honestly don't think these loofahs are abrasive enough to clean greasy pots and pans. They are not like scouring pads. They are all natural, and they came in a paper bag with no plastic.

Perfect thickness for balance of softness, absorbency, and soapsud-making
This is the perfect dishwashing utensil! It's softer than a sponge which makes it easy to get into nooks and crannies, but thicker than dishcloths so it creates much more soapsuds. I also love the rectangular shape and the size, which is not too big and not too small. And great value! I will be buying more and recommending this to everyone! I was also pleasantly surprised that this is the same brand that I bought a wooden spatula from, which I have also been loving. Seems like this seller makes good quality and thoughtfully designed products.

I love using these natural lufa sponges.
They last a long time, don't smell, are abrasive as well as gentle enough to clean my dishes.

Better than I hoped - fat and sturdy
I've purchased similar products in the past and found them to be a bit thin and uneven. This company stuffs the middle before sewing together the two sides of the sponge so it's thick and easy to use as a scrubber: on myself, my dishes, or my tiles. I now have these in every room with a sink and even took one to work!
