Very happy with my mask!!! I asked the shipper if he could ship the product out right away since I needed it for Halloween night...the mask got to me two nights before Halloween. The mask is legit, not flimsy like other masks I had seen at costume shops. Sturdy material and design. Stays right on your face. The art design on the mask was awesome. Seemed hand painted. The only negative was that the mask had a little bit of glue smell the first time I wore it. I'm sure it was because they added a gold rope fabric rim all around the mask that made it look even mor awesome than the picture. It was glued to the edge. By the second time I wore It the smell had gone away.

I purchased this mask to go with my Venetian Plague Doctor Halloween Costume. Nice quality. Not too heavy on your face. I purchased a $1.50 pack of this elastic which I sewed directly to the ribbon that comes with this mask since there is no "SLOT" to use to attach the elastic (which is definitely needed in order for the mask to be worn comfortably - otherwise it tilts a little forward on your face). It was very comfortable for the entire Halloween Party which we attended.My daughter didn't think it looked ominous enough since it is HEAVILY accented with gold paint, so wherever there was gold, she used basis acrylic black paint (took all of 5 minutes to do). Mask wasn't too hot either since it is hollow under the long nose. Would recommend over the ones you can purchase at the basic Halloween store.

This product feels high-quality in its construction, and the paint job was nice, but unfortunately it arrived as a much darker, beige-like color than the white advertised in the picture. This was especially annoying as the party we ordered it for had a specific color scheme and the mask was chosen largely for that reason. But aside from that, this mask feels like it is punching above its weight in terms of what you pay for. Ours did come with an elastic band, unlike what some other reviewers received.

Bought as a decoration, it is lovely, so though I did try it on mostly for curiosity it wasn't a top priority for me. As a decoration, the material, look, and the quality are excellent. It's a very cool mask (or perhaps masque would be more appropriate?) at a great price. Sets a nice mood for the romantic, the vampire crowd, the Venetian crowd, the New Orleans Mardi Gras folks and all the things that are peppered with that flavor and feeling.

I got this for my husband to wear to a 50th Birthday Masquerade party. It's an amazing mask. We both loved it. It looks very expensive, especially for the price. would say it's a beautiful mask, he would say its pretty dope.

I gave this as a gift to a friend who collects masks. It arrived in one piece, but the gold ribbon edging was hanging loose around most of the mask. It was easy to fix with a hot glue gun, though. The mask looks very creepy and edgy -- I almost wanted to keep it! My friend loved it. I didn't wear it before gifting it, so I can't comment on how it wears. But the white ribbons to keep it on seem to be able to hold the weight and are attached well.

So my father bought these as a Halloween surprise. However, they were purchased and kept in their box since the beginning of September. They were outside the return window when we discovered the problems. The gold braiding was loose and completely unsecured to the mask. When my father tried to glue it together, he discovered, to our general horror, they were actually way too short to properly trim the mask entirely. They were uncomfortable to wear and the elastics on the back weren't flat.
