Happy with king size linen sheet set
First set of king size linen sheets. I was buying high thread counts which I love and decided to try linen because my high thread count sheets wouldn't last long. I read that linen becomes softer with each wash and also helps keep you cool at night. The first night, I kept finding cold spots which I love, the fabric is different but it's a good different. I washed them the next day on delicate and dried on a low heat. It had a lot of lent, not sure why. They are definitely softer after one wash. The elastic is still okay after one wash. I think I'm going to like linen sheets so far. This set is a good set to start off with if you are unsure. Linen sheets are expensive, hopefully it will be worth it in the long run and they will last! For less lent, use less laundry detergent and no fabric softener

NOT FRENCH LINEN
If you read the small print in the description the seller says its made from French flax. Which I assume is true, most flax grown in France is shipped to China for spinning and weaving. To say the product is "French Linen" means the would fabric is spun and woven in France - its not, its woven and finished in China. China has thousands of years of history of making great woven fabric, I wish the seller would just be upfront and say its Chinese Linen. OK, got that out of the way.The sheets are light weight, with a weave that is looser than linen that is actually woven in Belgium or France. Compared to linen sheets I purchased in Belgium, these sheets are an excellent value for the quality, but just not as heavy, tightly woven or durable.I definitely would recommend these sheet for anyone who hasn't slept with linen sheets before to get a feel for what linen is all about, before investing in a more expensive higher quality product.

Good weight linen sheets
Holy crap I have to change my review now I have used them - these pill worse than flannelette sheets! You should have seen how much loose fibre fell on the floor when I changed sheets. Eek. $$$$$$I washed them with mild detergent and line dried out o sun so I cant see what the problem is.

Seam came torn
The sheets are nice and I'm happy with the purchase except for one problem. One of the pillowcases is torn, coming apart at the seam. I haven't used the sheets yet, haven't even put them on my bed. I hope this is not an ongoing problem. These sheets--especially at this price--should last for many years and I'm concerned they won't. Photo attached.

Go for it
I love this linen AND this seller! I got the chambray blue sheet set and it was much lighter in person than in (some of) the photos but that worked for me i surprisingly loved the color, it reminds me of denim blue jeans. If you look through the stock photos, the close ups of the fabric is the true color of what you'll receive, it's a bit confusing because each listed color actually shows two different versions of that color. It is true as many reviewers have stated that it is absolutely not soft when you first receive it (in comparison to other French & Belgian linens). I believe the description says it's washed for softness, but I kinda don't think it is. It took me atleast 10 washes before I noticed a good difference (machine wash delicate cycle cold water w/fabric softener and baking soda, hang dry if possible). * I'd like to add that I kept one pillowcase unwashed to compare to the rest of the set that was going through routine washings, which really helped me gauge how well everything was holding up * But once you find your linen softening up it is so worth it, it feels great in the hot summer and it looks amazing - in a "lived in" type of way. My fitted sheet ripped, and they sent me a new one after I sent a picture for proof. And then a few weeks later I noticed the stitches had popped on the sheet along the bottom corner. As expected I was extremely upset and angry because this set had been so exspensive. But I needn't have been, because after I sent another picture to them they sent me ANOTHER sheet without any trouble! I will say that although I have never machine dried my set as of yet I've still noticed a bit of shrinkage, the fitted sheet is harder to get on the mattress and the pillowcases aren't quite as loose as they'd been when I first received them. But all fabrics shrink over time and they still fit albeit tighter so I'm not making a fuss about it (fingers crossed this fitted sheet doesn't become any tighter though). If you're looking at this set then go for it. What do you have to lose? There's a return policy if you decide you don't love them, and if there's an issue Lausonhouse will work with you quickly and efficiently to resolve it. It's a win win. I'd also like to add that although linen softens up over time with use and washings it's not going to be silky soft, be aware that linen has texture to it, a pleasant texture but texture nonetheless. I don't think it's for everybody, it's more of an acquired taste in my opinion and if you purchase expecting silky smooth softness you're going to be disappointed. I personally like the idea that I have to put in some effort to soften up the fabric and from the moment you begin to use and launder your linen it will only continue getting softer with time. It is true that linen repels dirt (& stains). My newborn sleeps on the linen sheets with me and like all newborns he's gross (bodily functions from every end). His little stains have always washed right out, even when I waited days to do so. Overall I believe this type of linen requires more effort and use to get it softer, but once you notice results it's smooth sailing from there. Keep an eye on the stitches, they won't last as long as the fabric and be mindful of the temperatures during washing/drying so you don't experience too much shrinkage (although some shrinkage is clearly inevitable as it happened to me).Update: I knew my sheet was getting tight, but now it hardly fits the mattress. I've washed it twice since the review, cold water line dry. Not sure what's going on but it does not ater my opinion on the material and the seller. Try them out today!

I have other better quality linen sheets bought in Europe to compare these to . These sheets feel rough and not soft compared to other linen :(

Sleep more comfortable!
I loved the color and texture of these sheets! I also noticed that they do help with body temperature. In comparison to other linen sheets, the price wasn't bad either. I recommend them!

Comfy, colorfast and wash very well!
Luv luv luv these blue linen sheets! These pure French linen sheets are by far my runaway favorites. They are breathable and make sleeping extremely comfortable. I like the fact that they are also colorfast and wash very well. This French linen fits nicely without pulling over a very deep mattress (18-20 inches). They keep me feeling cool in the summer and have kept me feeling warm when the AC is turned on full blast!
