I have matfer bourgeat carbon steel frying pans with flat handles. These fit the handles perfectly, they are a snug fit. I have some different handle covers to fit my round saucepan handles (maybe an inch diameter) and the matfer handles rattle around inside them irritatingly, so if you have large pan handles these won't fit (per the negative review below). If you have slim handles, these are the dogs danglies and they are only 2 quid. Get one.

Bought to go on le creuset skillet so it can go in oven .. too small to fit handle.

I bought this to go onto a frying pan handle as I often have two pans side by side on my hob so there is the potential of the handle overheating. My pans are standard ones with normal handles but the pot over is too tight to fit. I can only get it half way on when I use a lot of force. It has now been abandoned to the bottom of the drawer. I would not recommend this product. The only reason I have not returned it is because it took weeks to arrive and of course it wasn’t very expensive.

It fits my De Buyer steel pan handle, which gets very hot, very well and it gives good grip and insulation.

Perfect fit for frying pan handle that was not insulated from main pan.
