I have very blocky feet. They are relatively short, with a high arch and square toes. Effectively, whenever I am standing, my toes are by far the widest part of my whole foot. Since nearly all shoes curve in at the toe, this means that I always have to buy several sizes up to accommodate my foot shape (my toes fall where most people have the ball of their foot). Even so, most women's shoes still don't fit, since the arch is positioned too far forward for my feet, and my foot is wide even before the toes. So generally, I buy men's shoes for casual wear (and look like I have clown feet), and try not to dress in anything that would require a women's dress shoe.I saw the Liuoka brand advertised as a true wide width, and since I would at some point like to wear something girly and cute in my life, I ordered a pair of ankle boots. I measured according to directions, by placing my feet against a wall, marking where my toes end, and measuring that length. I did it several times to make sure I was getting a good result, and then took that length (which corresponded to a 7.5 according to directions), then went up a half size just in case.The boots came quickly, and were in perfect condition. They look very cute, and seem to be well made. My only objection to the way they are made is that the inside is very, very hard - there's no cushioning at all. So insoles might be needed for long-term wear. This is why I gave it four stars instead of five.When I tried them on, I found that they ARE wider than most shoes that size, but my feet are still too blocky. Although they don't pinch to the same degree that most women's shoes do, and they were certainly long enough for my foot length, my blocky foot shape still isn't quite comfortable in them. I wore them around for a while to see if I could break them in a bit and help the material relax around my foot, but they are still just a touch too narrow. This is not the company's fault - my feet are just weirdly shaped and I think most measuring systems won't work for me. I do plan to order another pair of shoes from this company, but I might try going up a full size to accommodate my toes. That will still look better than the normal clown shoes I have to wear, and I think it will be worth the trouble to finally have a pair of nice, cute, girly shoes to wear around.

I can't tell you how many booties I've ordered from Amazon and had to return...all in search of the perfect shoe to hide, accommodate and flatter my robust cankles. And to top it off, they are so cute and comfortable!! I usually buy booties 1-2 sizes bigger than my actual foot size in order for them to fit (i.e., not cause an "ankle muffin top"), so I can't really speak to the sizing on these since I am accustomed to very loose shoes - but I think I may be able to get another pair in my actual shoe size since there is still room for me to put TWO fingers between my skin and the shoe! The "v" on both sides also allows for room to actually bend my cankles in either direction. The price can't be beat either - considering ankle liposuction is ~$5k. These shoes are amazing. :)

This is truely a wide width shoe!!! They will definitely needs breaking in. Only weird thing is the zipper on the out side of the foot is a faux zipper. Overall comfortable.

If you have wide feet these are THE BEST. I normally wear anywhere between 9W-9.5W. Even with a wide I struggle finding a comfortable shoe that fits well. Either too long or not wide enough are my common issues. But not these. I LOVE THIS BRAND. I know that an 8.5W is going to fit and feel good. So order down perhaps a half size (in no other shoe in the world would I wear an 8.5W). And enjoy. The quality is good, not excellent. I sometimes notice random things. Like these have a bit of the wood texture missing from the outer sole. But I don't even care to exchange them, it's quite minor.

These boots are amazing!! I have insanely wide feet (almost embarrassingly wide- I avoid sandals at all costs), and these fit like a dream. I followed the size chart and ordered an 8.5w (instead of a 9 like I usually would to make up for the width). I have the hardest time finding booties I like, so this was an exciting find for the price! The ankle part is a little wide, but if anything it just makes my ankles look slightly dainty (for once, lol) so I don't mind it ;)

Cute, well made but they are just wide- but not necessarily anything more than any shoe's wide. Confused about the true wide.

This is the first boot that I bought that actually fits a wider foot as it should without rubbing sides of feet. Best boot I’ve ever had for comfort and fashionable too. No need to buy too big a size to fit wide foot, fits true to size.

Although this product shows a zipper on both sides, only one of them actually works! The other is only a decoration! What's worse is the DECORATION is an "actual zipper" sewn into the boot. For a few cents more they could have made it functional. I was specifically looking for a boot with two zippers so that they could easily be put on.
