Great idea, not as expected
I got this to try when I fly with my service dog to get his ears to pop during take off. Unfortunately it arrived molded, so I cut away those parts and proceeded to break off the part that turns to push the treat up. My dog figured out that it wasn't to chew and was lukewarm about it so I ended up tossing it. It is a nice small container, I just wish the product was executed better.

Great Distraction Treat
My dog would go crazy when I would try to brush her. She wanted to play/chew on the brush. So at one point I brought out 2 brushes holding one for her to distract her while I brushed her (not really effective). Now - I pull leanlix out - only while I brush her as a special treat. She now gets excited to be brushed. However, as with the 2nd brush 'technique' - I still need to hold the lix in one hand (if possible it would be great to have it shaped for her to hold in her paws...?)- but her focus is totally on the lix stick. It keeps her distracted and she doesn't mind being brushed. I do leave the treat portion lower than edge, since she does try to bite it off to eat. It would be nice to have a variety (large) pack available to ensure enjoyable to pet - since it can be pricey.

Pup loves it...too much?...like an addictive energy drink?
I give this three stars because I have a conflict: Five stars for pup's interest, but one star for side-effect.My pup's interest is all on this stick when I bring it out, and it definitely keeps her attention at the start of training or distracts when our surroundings are becoming overwhelming.HOWEVER, this lick stick seems to get my pup over-the-top jacked up like she has had an energy drink after only a few licks. For that reason, I will not be purchasing again.

Not exciting enough for my labradors (who’ll eat just about anything)
I wanted to love this product since it seemed the best replacement idea for the no-longer-available Lickety-Stik, which my dogs used to love. We train a lot, and for some exercises it’s nice to be able to offer a quick and tasty dab as a reward, instead of messing with treats. Unfortunately, the Leanlix PB & J doesn’t keep their attention. It’s... ok. They’ll lick it if there’s nothing else interesting going on. But my dogs prefer just about any other treat, and I am still looking for a Lickety-Stik replacement.

Sometimes she likes it, something she ignores it
I bought this treat for my 3 year old Jack Russell. She can't eat anything more than a special canned dog food diet. Any complex proteins or excessive fats ends up as diarhrrea. I freeze her dog food and feed it to her as treats, so its hard to train her away from home or at least in hot sunny weather. I like the idea of using this for my dog, but she doesn't always warms up to the treat, so I'm going to try another flavor for her and see if she warms up to it. It would be perfect training tool for her of this works out.

Gross Powdery Substance on top. Dog who eats everything wouldn't touch it
I thought this product would be good for rewarding my service dog for behaving while we're out and about. I was pretty excited about trying this product. When it arrived, I opened it to find a powder on top that was a greenish gray color. Based on photos from the website, I don't think this is normal. Maybe it had gone bad; I'm not sure. my golden retriever who will eat just about anything wouldn't touch it. I don't blame her. Also, I didn't realize when I bought the product that it is a refill to a device that I don't have. So if you do decide to purchase this, you might also want to get the device. Also, the spot in the middle of the photo is where I wiped off some of the powder to see what was underneath. Both of the refills were like this.

I have 3 Goldens who love their treats
I have 3 Goldens who love their treats! I use this product with my 7 year old Golden, Nola, who is recovering from ACL surgery. We go to physical therapy and work on balance equipment. The Leanlix stick allows me to control Nola's movement on the equipment better because I'm not having to worry about reloading my hand with little treats. Any movement by me throws off her positioning on the equipment. These sticks are GREAT for her getting a great workout that is beneficial and safe! Although these are more expensive, I like that the ingredients are better than some other brands of sticks. I'm trying these in the fridge & freezer too so my girl doesn't eat through it too quickly! I've already ordered more! I wish there were more vegetable flavored choices though.

perhaps one of the meaty flavors would be better for keeping his attention
My cat loves this thing but the dog doesn't grasp the licking concept and he just bites the whole container. Smh. Also, this flavor is not high enough value for him either, perhaps one of the meaty flavors would be better for keeping his attention?!

Buyer Beware
Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!!After removing the plastic the outside of the product was extremely sticky all over.. from what appeared to be the product leaking. There was a small piece of foam on the inside with a small rip in it.. clearly showing this had been used/opened before.Had to throw it out... as there were too many red flags to ensure its safety with my puppy.

Great concept, just watch hot weather and make sure you keep it covered.
Dogs love this! It's so handy for training and no forgotten treats in pockets to be chewed through later. It does get hard in the air and melts in hot weather.

Terrible
