I don't normally leave many reviews on things but had to for this! When i first moved into my house many years ago i took my old toilet seat off and replaced with a decorative one it only lasted a few weeks and ever since i've been through numerous toilet seats that don't last and move about. This toilet seat although more expensive was the easiest toilet seat to fit and is such fantastic quality! Amazing and does not move at all. So impressed, it really is true what they say. Pay more, better quality. Ease of installation: Really easy to install, took 5 mins max! Stability: Very good quality. Movement: Doesn't move that all, really secure!

Excellent toilet seat for most DIY bought toilets. It's oval in shape and fits very well. I purchased this to replace a previous model of the same type, albeit not chrome, which snapped at the hinge after 3 years. In this time the sitting area of the previous model had diminished far beyond what they look like new as the white paint on the wooden seat doesn't hold up well to cleaning chemicals, making it unhygienic over a long period. The plus sides are that it's rock-solid in use (tip: use silicone in the toilet basin holes when mounting the screws) and it has a very comfortable seat. I was able to use the existing fittings, which were steel screws several years ago, and didn't need to redo the whole installation with the new nylon plastic screws so I've kept them as spares. This made the replacement a breeze; quick and easy. I think I'll purchase a spare at some point and try out applying a durable wood lacquer. Update 1: I've had this toilet seat for a few weeks and it's already showing signs of deterioration in the paint, despite not using anything harsher than antibacterial wipes and spray. Update 2: A few months later and the toilet seat has split at a barely noticeable hairline crack I initially ignored due to needing a seat right away. [Amazon were helpful with this defect by sending out a replacement, but required the defective seat to be returned]. Update 3: Replacement seat working perfectly. I sanded and coated this seat in a heavy clear lacquer and it's been absolutely amazing. Any dirt cleans up and off it right away. This is the way they should be sold from factory. I highly recommend getting a spray lacquer for a perfect smooth finish or painting it on with a roller.

Top quality toilet seat. The Bemis name should say it all. It is not the cheapest seat but to feel comfortable is important so you can contemplate the important things in life. You have to feel comfortable, outstanding seat soft close function is the best option should I buy again

Our old toilet seat needed replacing, so we bought a cheap one from a local shop. It was wobbly and broke within 2 weeks. I was skeptical about this toilet seat due to the price (and also 90% of toilet seats I’ve used are always wobbly), but it’s AMAZING! It’s the perfect size and fits so well! And because it tightens with a wrench, it literally doesn’t move in the slightest. I’ve tried wobbling it but it’s basically stuck the toilet. Very very happy with the purchase and will be recommending it to everyone!

Absolutely love this loo seat. Brought to replace a supposedly "rust free" seat from Dunelm, that rusted on the hinge screws within a couple of months So it was important to me to have concealed hinges this time around. This Bemis Chicago Ultra Fix on offer for £22.95 instead of RRP £32 was a great purchase. Didn't want to risk problems in transit, so requested "hide what's inside" packaging. Arrived in perfect condition. Colour is lovely polar white, matches the close coupling cistern perfectly. Feels great quality, a dream to assemble, just a wee note - I purposely didn't screw the nuts to point of shear off but just the right tension for a sturdy "I'm not moving, no way, no how" fitting. (This was just my personal decision) The only small issue was the 13mm spanner required to tighten is NOT included with the fittings). Don't uhm and arhh on this one, just get it in your basket, you will not regret it

Superb toilet seat. Well made and sturdy. Exactly the same as my old seat so fitted perfectly. Shame that the quality control of the manufacturer wasn't at the same standard. Bad chip the size of a 2 pence coin on the rear corner of the seat where it had obviously been dropped. Necessitated rubbing down and three coats of touch up paint.

Excellent toilet seat and easy to fit, it took ten minutes to setup and fit ( it took longer removing the old seat than fitting this new one) brilliant idea concerning the tightening nut that fixes the toilet underneath, it shears off at the right tension so not as to over tighten or under tighten, seems solid when assembled with no movement, hopefully it will stay that way overtime.

L'article est de bonne qualité mais la couleur de l'abattant n'est pas conforme à celle de la photo... Pour information sa teinte véritable est beaucoup plus claire.

Inte mjukstängande lock och definitivt inte universiell/fits all eller ens "most" toaletter. Skruvarna var ca 5cm för korta för att jag skulle kunna nå att skruva på plastmuttern och muttern i sig för bred för att gå igenom toalettstolen hål..fick ta den gamla sitsen "tryck-pinnar" och dels trycka igenom dem i den nya sitsens hål och sen ta en avbitare på ovansidan och knipsa av för att kunna stänga locken..Får se hur länge detta håller, sådär nöjd🤷🏼‍♀️

dit is zeker weten het makkelijkste te instaleren wc bril ooit, ik koop niets anders meer, geen scheefzittende bril meer voor mij :-)

Reçu aujourd’hui même, totalement satisfaite du produit!Facile à monter! Très solide, une belle couleur (certe pas mate mais pas un brillant effet plastifié), les cache vis sont en plastique, pas de freins sur ce modèle mais personnellement ça ne me pose pas de problème, donne un très beau rendu, attention sur la petite notice il est bien précisé de ne pas nettoyer avec des choses abrasives ou produits comme la javel, seulement eau savonneuse 😉😁 livraison en 2 jours pour moi, super rapport qualité prix correct.
