Awesome butter in just a few minutes of churning, easy to use!
The provided instructions were very helpful for a first-timer! The whipping cream needs to be whipped at room temperature, so leave it out for a couple hours before churning. Sugar-sweetened whipped cream is easy enough to make with this awesome jar, but for us, the butter was the end-game. After passing the whipped-cream stage, separating butter from buttermilk is near-instant! It was jaw-dropping for me how fast it was, as this was my first time making butter. It was incredibly easy and I would recommend this to most people with average wrist strength and up. Those with weaker wrists or with wrist issues may still use, but they will definitely need to hand it off to another during the whipped-cream stage as it gets thicker and harder to turn before butter transformation. In all, it made way more butter than I thought I would get, which was awesome! No more buying unsalted butter at the store when I can just make it right at home. The mess is non-existent, and the jar makes it easy to collect the buttermilk as well as rinse the butter. The mechanisms of the churner itself work very nicely so far, only having used it twice. Every gear turns correctly and fits perfect. During second use there is a squeak when cranking, but oiling has put it at bay. The jar and paddle are both very easy to wash, rinse, and sanitize.

Easy to make butter
My granddaughter and I used it for the first time and it was so much fun! I let my granddaughter do the churning and it seemed like just a few minutes later we had butter. The churn worked great and very easy to clean up. I would recommend to anyone who gets pleasure from producing their own food. I saved the buttermilk and froze it to use later for my homemade rolls. Cost wise if you don’t use the buttermilk then it may not be cost effective to make butter but the reward from making it is great.

Very Convenient Butter Churn!
Small enough to not take up much kitchen space. Simple recipe and not too much time makes a nice amount of homemade butter.

Sturdy, High-Quality Butter Churn — Great Tool for Homemade Butter
This glass butter churn is definitely well made and feels very sturdy. I was worried about the glass holding up under pressure while churning, but the heavy weight and quality construction made it feel secure and durable throughout the process. The silicone churn piece also worked much better than the plastic versions I’ve tried, although I still think stainless steel would probably perform best overall. It definitely takes some effort — around 15–20 minutes of churning got me fresh butter and buttermilk. If you save the liquid, it works great for baking too. After churning, there’s still the process of rinsing the butter in a cold water bath, adding salt if you like salted butter (we do!), and shaping it, so making homemade butter is definitely a bit of a project. To be honest, the final taste wasn’t noticeably different from Kerrygold for me, so personally it wasn’t worth the extra time and work on a regular basis. But that said, this churn itself works very well and is absolutely a great-quality tool for anyone who enjoys making homemade butter or wants more control over ingredients.

Received broken items both times. I give up.
Ordered for the first time on May 24, 2025. After a week and a half, it came in a box fully covered in 4 layers of cardboard, and yet it was broken-- a hole on the side the size of a golf ball. I requested a replacement. Finally got the second replacement June 15, 2025 (another 2 weeks waiting), opened it up immediately, through the same secure 4 layers of cardboard and bubble wrap, there was another hole a little bit smaller than a golf ball. The product seems sturdy, the jar is a great size, the top part is big enough for your hands to fit in and clean inside with ease. It's a decent size that could fit inside your cupboards for easy storage so I feel it makes it a functional and practical piece for your kitchen without taking up too much space. Unfortunately, I couldn't try making butter in either for obvious golf ball size reasons. I was severely disappointed, I had hoped that the first broken piece was just a mistake but two times? I think they're sending out broken pieces on purpose at this point. I made a previous review which wasnt approved because it didn't describe the item (but I did). So here is my second review for both experiences. Pictures of both times are included.

No more store-bought butter.
I decided I wanted to make homemade butter on a whim. The product is easy to use. However, keep in mind that the MORE heavy cream you use, the SLOWER it is going to take for your butter to form. I would not recommend filling the jar full, unless you want to work out your arm. I tried--using a whole 32oz carton of cream. Just pour enough for the paddle to show above the liquid. Overall, I had fun making the butter and would do it again.

Fun!
Was pleasantly surprised to find the jar bigger than I thought it would be. Washed and dried right away. Used my heavy cream at room temperature. About 12 ounces. Which took around a half an hour to solidify. About 12 ounces makes about a half of cup of butter. Very easy to churn until the butter starts to form. Then easy again. Used it on grilled cheese sandwiches. The best. Remember to save the buttermilk to use in recipes! This is a great buy. Works well. Fun to watch as you churn the heavy cream. Great value! I am happy I bought this.

Satisfaction garantie
Cette baratte semble très solide, je pense qu'elle me donnera entière satisfaction pendant longtemps. Le beurre réalisé avec une crème fraîche liquide contenant 35% de matière grasse est excellent, je ne m'en lasse pas.

Best Butter Churner
If you are a butter maker and prefer to be more authentic, this is the one for you, I tried a few before I found this one. It is robust, the cogs, unlike others I've tried are strong, not flimsy, they don't pop apart once there is a bit of strain on them and the paddles churn beautifully. Quick and efficient.
