Good hooks, sharp.

Overall these size #3 hooks meet all my requirements. The hooks are quite sharp and the steel is very resistant to bending for it's diameter. The barb on the point seems adequate, however, the pair of bait holder bards on the back of the shank are quite small. I've experienced bait creep after a few casts and believe that it's a result of these smaller barbs. I'm satisficed with these and plan to purchase more when I need another size. Well recommended.

The hook is pretty sharp you get some sharp and some okay but mostly sharp. The two barbs aren't good they don't expose it enough so you can barely feel it. Overall not too shabby I ordered a size 3 but it came in like my Gamakatsu size 2.

I needed some good bait holders for catfishing the lake. They hold up pretty good against some large catfish. They give you a large quantity for the money. Worth buying!

As others have stated the barbs on the shank are not very pronounced and some baits struggle to hold on. However the sandworm bait i used held on fine, hook is sharp and caught plenty of surf perch on the same hook....you can use super glue to keep the plastic swim baits on the hook longer

These hooks are sturdier than I anticipated. based on the price per hook, I was expecting them to be weak. So far they have held up fine for catching surf perch.
