I own a 2004 millennium yellow convertible corvette. I treat her better than my wife (Don't tell Her). Anyway, I was detailing my driver door and ripped the plastic cover on my master door switch when removing. I actual dropped to my knees and cried.I shopped the big corvette part suppliers and almost purchased a new switch from one. My wife mentioned why not check out Amazon. (quality corvette parts from amazon, yeah) Happy wife, happy life run through my mind, but I checked. Run across the master switch offered from SWITCHDOCTOR, the price was lower than the big corvette part suppliers plus they offered a very outstanding warranty that the big suppliers do not. So, I take a gamble and ordered the switch. Switch arrived earlier than quoted from Amazon. Opened the box and the switch appeared as advertised.Here is the issue that almost made me send it back and why the product description needs to be updated. When I went to install the replacement switch, I turned the switch over to install the light bulbs into the back of the switch – like how the OEM part has them installed. To my surprise there was no way to install the lights because the replacement switch did not have the circuit board installed to except the lights. Again, I cried.Here a go again back to the big corvette part suppliers researching for an OEM switch. One of suppliers was selling two switch configurations: one with circuit board and one without with a note that said “LED” lights installed. CRAP, I grabbed the switch from SWITCHDOCTOR run to my corvette, installed the switch and it lit up. (NO MORE TEARS).Awesome product. Would recommend for anyone who has damaged their master switch and needs a quality replacement. Now, I all need is the passenger switch because the new one shows how faded it is.

My window was sticking a little while being raised so like an imbecile I tried to compensate by pushing harder on the button. That promptly shattered the nearly 20 year old OEM window button, with shards of plastic falling inside my door. I ordered the SWITCHDOCTOR replacement part for my C5 which arrived promptly. I simply unplugged the old broken switch and plugged in the SWITCHDOCTOR, it was a perfect 1 for 1 replacement. All buttons work perfectly, no complaints. It also appears to have LED lights, so no worrying about replacing bulbs ever. You don't have to take your door apart to replace it, just pop your old switch out.It is slightly different from the original OEM unit in that the white text has a brighter appearance, and I don't think you can replace the lights themselves without unsoldering LEDs. The rubber also has a slightly different feel- softer and more pliable.I knew this before ordering so I replaced the switch on the passenger side at the same time so they would match.

I tore the dry rubber on the old switch removing it to change the window motor, and bought this as a replacement. It installed easily, was delivered quickly, and works fine. The print is slightly different from OEM, so I went ahead and ordered the passenger side switch to match, but if you're not picky that may not be an issue. Frankly, I think it looks better than Chevy's version.
