Entertaining
Fun for little ones whenever you need to keep them entertained for a few minutes. I always have some of these Dover books in my purse for grands, especially when waiting in restaurants.

caution: all lower case letters
I did not think this was a bad "little" book. But I interpreted the word "little" to mean the size of the book, which in fact, was little. However I think what they meant was that all the letters in the dot-to-dots were lower case, i.e. "little" letters. This makes a big difference at that very young age where they are just learning their alphabet. My daughter could have done a capital letter dot-to-dot independently, but needs alot of guidance with the lower case version. That's not necessarily a bad thing - it just depends on what stage of letter recognition your child is, and whether you had planned to have your child use the book independently or not.

Nice little compact book, but stiff, small letters.
The book is compact, which makes it great for kids who like "small" or older children who are better able to hold open a small, stiff bound book and manuever a pencil with good fine motor control. This isn't as great for a younger child who is learning letters though because the letters are small, and they are unlikely to find it easy to complete. Better for a child with good motor control who wants extra practice with letters, or just likes dot-to-dots.

Little but Mighty
This small booklet is just right for that little person just learning their "ABC's" and great for them to take it with them on a short trip. This is a book that my granddaughter wanted and it is just the right size for her. A great beginning book of learning the basics. She will be able to color the pages afterwards too. The book cost is low but a great learning tool for those little hands.

Connect-the-dot alphabet book
I bought this book for my 5-year-old nephew who's learning the alphabet- a challenge for him right now. I recently introduced him to connect-the-dots activities, & he loves them, so I'm sure he'll love this & learn the alphabet meanwhile. I underestimated how LITTLE of a book it would be (pocketbook size) but very cute w/ various pictures & poems.

Less is not always more
This book is tiny and not suitable for the age of child that I had intended giving it as part of a gift parcel......Would not be able to genuinely recommend this activity book.

Two activities, one book. Gotta like that
The grandchildren just love all the little activity books. After they finish the follow the dots then they can use it as a coloring book.

旅のおともに
手のひらサイズの小さい本です。文字通りアルファベットの大文字でかかれているドットを線で順番につないでいくものです。56種類の絵が出来上がります。だいたいひとつのアルファベットで1-7種類の絵があります。"airplane""automobile""balloon""barn"とはじまり"cactus""gingerbread man""opossum""porcupine""reindeer""windmill"などもでてきます。旅行に行くときや、ちょっと移動するとき子供が退屈しないよう、これは"使える"と思います。
