There are some particles in the product to help stop the leak. It should not be completely transparent. It is a brownish color when pouring. Dose this work on a over pressured coolant system, the radiator hoses are some time rock hard some times soft? No coolant lose

If you are not losing coolant you don't need a sealer.

If the coolant level is low, just add the product to the cool radiator and then fill the radiator and overflow tank to the proper level. NOTE: cooling systems that are dirty or partially clogged should be flushed before using. If you haven't done so in the last three to four years, we recommend you run a chemical cooling system flush product through the cooling system. This will help dissolve any scale or buildup inside the system and help prevent any potential flow restrictions.
