great for day tripNot for plane ride. Someone reviewed that already and I didn't listen. Its a very large bag it was like digging through Mary Poppins bag lol but definitely a good durable bag.

Great weekend backpack

Light weight and can fit alot of stuff

Great all around back pack. True Colombia quality. The bag is lightweight and a drawstring style. I love how it not only closes by drawstring but it also has 2 padded straps that snap close for double protection. However, still esy to get in and close. It's a simplistic and sleek design with plenty of space once open. I personally think it's geared towards the younger generation because my adult son (30), immediately loved it whereas my husband said it wasn't really his style. It's a unisex design but it would be something I would use at a amusement park for snacks for my grandchildren. It would make a good gift and I would surely recommend others to buy.

This backpack is VERY well made -- definitely worthy of the Columbia brand name. The construction is flawless. However, it is not waterproof (tested it) and it has no side pockets or other compartments other than the one large 25L main compartment.It is billed as an outdoor pack, but what kind of outdoor pack is one that is NOT waterproof.Personally, I see very few practical uses for this Columbia backpack.

Absolutely a well made, very conveniently designed everyday-all the time backpack. I am female and do not carry a purse; I use backpacks, which this one is roomy and open like a tote inside. Cinch opening that you can then flip over a snap-lock flap to keep out dust, rain, or added security from someone else's hands. The tanned branded patch accents this as a backpack that is seriously outdoors, which it is. Takes a beating, and everything brushes off of it. For those who are traveling, of course, this is an eligible carry-on pack and easy to stow.

Good:-Handles on both ends of backpack.-Unique cinched top opening for main compartment.-Adjustable straps on front and back.-Padded shoulder strap.-Black exterior with camouflage interior give it a outdoorsy sporty look.-The bottom of the bag is padded.-The bag can stand on its own when filled with stuff.Bad:-Machine washing not recommended. Hand wipe only.-No water bottle compartments.-No pockets in the main compartment for organizing.I am 5’0 about 128 lbs (give or take) and the Columbia Unisex Classic Outdoor 25L Daypack fits me well. The straps are easily adjustable and comfortable. For additional storage, there is a zippered compartment on the top of the backpack. In my opinion, it’s not the right backpack for someone who needs a lot of organization, but it’s roomy enough for a day adventure or can be used as a casual purse.

I bought this pack specifically because it is exactly the right size to be considered a "Personal Item" on Porter Airlines. The stitching is solid, it's well made, rugged, comfortable to wear, has a single zippered top pocket to keep small items handy and the lash down top means you can just strap your jacket/sweater across the top. I use packing cubes and stuff sacks inside to organize things and appreciate the simplicity of the design. There's really nothing that can go wrong with a straight-forward pack like this and I anticipate many years of use.
