We have been giving buffalo horns to the dogs for a while now. This was the first order where we had any problems. Both horns were breaking off in chunks, which lead to one dog choking pretty badly. Threw them out and will not buy again.

We just acquired a Rottweiler pup and have been training her Not to chew on shoes, blankets, etc, and someone mentioned the Buffalo horn as a replacement....she LOVES it! AND it will last a long, long time!Also our older Labrador who has been exasperated with the pup loves chewing on the horn as well.

Best buffalo horns I have found and I have tried them all. Yes they stink and yes they splinter a little with aggressive chewers but they are thick enough to withstand my addicted monster and not break too bad. He runs around the house playing and happy all day. Do not leave any dog unattended with them to long but they are the best out there.

I have 3 large breed dogs and this is one of their favorite chew toys. I wouldn't say they are extreme aggressive chewers but they do like to chew. So far I've had these for several months and theres only a small portion that has been chewed down. I have NOT had any problems with splintering, broken off pieces, or foul odors, which seems to be common issues with other similar products. Overall I am very satisfied.

They are more hollow than other ones I have purchased however they still last longer than rawhide, balls, Nyla bone, rubber. They are longer which is easier for my dogs to carry around.

I have a German Shepherd who has had a horn bone for 5 years. It is just beginning to fray on the cut end so I thought I would get him a new one. I bought this pair of bones and at first I was thrilled. They looked and felt great and I thought they would hold up as long. I had to take them away from him within the first week because they cracked and large pieces would splinter off. He's not very aggressive with bones which is why the first one lasted 5 years (and is still going). I had to throw these new ones away as they aren't safe or durable.

I buy these for my dogs and I have a St. Bernard mix. She has gone throw these like candy. Won’t buy these ones again. I did read reviews and they are just not that great. I had to take them a way as my Bulldog keep get prices my St. Bernard mix broke off an throwing them up.

These were twice the size I expected so that even with the standard poodles (big dogs) we cut them in half. They really enjoy gnawing on them, although, it seems they always prefer the one another dog has.
