Musiclily Dual Hot Rail High Output Guitar Single Coil Sized Humbucker Pickups for Fender Squier Strat, Black

Fits well in my superstrat, sounds awesome too, I was expecting to hear volume differences between single coils, but no, it’s just amazing. Totally noiseless.

Installed this in the bridge position of my strat. I don't think its possible to get a pickup as good as this for only a few quid. Has clear instructions, super easy to install even for a novice like me. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the extra bass, so had to adjust all my patches but that's not the fault of the pickup.

Fits as a direct replacement for a strat's single-coil without needing to modify the pick-guard which makes installation easy, the wiring diagram is easier to read than some & pretty sensible regarding which colours do what. Being a rail you can put it in any position and it won't look out of place, I chose the black colour but its more of a very dark grey that doesn't quite match other black pickups.The sound is ok it is an upgrade to the masking-tape wrapped import pickups from a 20yo beginner mini guitar with two single-coil pickups I'm refurbishing for a family member, but I was a little dissapoint; if I had bought this for one of my own guitars I'd be sending it back but cost is a major concern in this case and I doubt you can get better for this price. I'm guessing this is probably voiced similar to the middle pickup in the pre-wired set they sell, I wouldn't really call it a "hot" rail since its lower output than my other single-coils and it doesn't really work in the bridge position because the tone isn't bright nor loud enough.I probably wouldn't buy another of this specific pickup, but I might be tempted to try the pre-wired set as I've heard the pickups in that are specifically balanced & voiced for their positions; its a shame they don't offer those as separate products as I really need a good bright dual-rail pickup for the bridge of this project but think I'll put this in the neck position and look for something better for the bridge.

Used in my Harley Benton budget mustang copy, unfortunately couldn't utilise coil splitting due to this particular guitars wiring, and some slight hum is present but no more than there already was on this guitar. nice beefy sound but high end is not compromised, and for the price i am very happy with this.

I bought 3 of these for my old Strat as I needed something with a bit more power and I'm so glad I had!They are absolutely brilliant! I've been playing for over 30yrs so I know when a pickup is up to task or not. When clean they sound great but with distortion even better. I can recreate classic rock to modern metal tones with no feedback, no buzz and they're great for lead guitar with bridge or neck. They remind me very much of the Bill Lawrence L500 pickups from the 80s.Highly recommended and I WILL without doubt be buying more!

Didn’t have great expectations for this but took a chance as I was only putting the pickup in an old Squier Strat which had an awful bridge pick up. This sounds awesome has a great range crisp and clean sound and impressive and punchy with drive.If buying this for a strat style guitar would recommend also doing a tone mod so you can control the tone of the bridge pickup so you can get the best out of the pickup and guitar.Overall well worth the price significantly better than some bigger brands I’ve tried. Only issue is the screw heads are the wrong size (smaller) but I reused old ones anyway.

Just not as good as it looks, cheap for a reason. Wierd as musiclily normally does good stuff.Better wiring chart would be beneficial too.

Bought a used Squire Bronco bass and didn’t like the hum from the stock pickup. Also didn’t want to spend more than the guitar. The stock pickup is a six post guitar pickup and not truly for a bass. This Musiclily was well within my price range and a perfect fit into existing pick guard. The screw holes aren’t threaded but since it’s made of plastic it wasn’t too hard to self tap with provided screws. Just needs a bit of pressure. Most of all the hum with this humbucker pickup is gone and the sound difference isn’t too noticeable compared to the stock pickup. It’s also louder.

5 stars for great value and super fast delivery.Used this for the Bronco bass piccolo mod. Fit like a glove, no filing needed. Wiring was easy because its a single pickup, quick net search confirmed basic wiring, something about including the green wire.Maybe the name brands have a more refined sizzle, but for this budget build, sounds decent enough for hacking around with a gtx50 or zoom pedal etc. Big improvement over the stock single coil

Fungerar utmärkt i gammal halvakustisk gitarr. Kan inte riktigt bedöma ljudkvaliteten annat än att det låter precis som jag förväntade mig och inget störande brus eller annat.

Ho 4 Stratocaster con questo pickup al ponte, suona anche meglio per i miei gusti di altri humbucker full size, sopratutto se lo abbiniamo ad altri single coil.Sarebbe perfetto se fosse disponibile con un avvolgimento da 7/7,5 KΩ. ma anche così non sfigura con la brillantezza dei single coil, risulta solo un po' più pieno e con più medi.Perfetto!!!
