Didnt really have any affect on snow and ice buildup on my porch, just an inch or so of build up.

No shoveling No salting!
This item is great—my son gave me one for our back door and I loved it - no shoveling or salt all over house and car-Falling is a concern and this gives a clean, dry surface to walk on.I wanted another one for my front door.If you get it down before it starts snowing it’s best but just laying it down over the ice and snow the mat will melt the snow and ice.Good product
