Great lens for macro but not for portraitswhat i have observed is that it struggles a little in auto focus also the optical stabilisation is bit noisy.Plus the lens is not weather sealedSharpness is less than that of the canon.Overall for this price its an average lensPros: excellent 1:1 reproduction at a min focusing of 8 inchesPrice is less :DCons: colour fringing in some picsLess sharpness in portraitNoisy osHeavy lens weighting aroung 750 gms also no option for tripod collarOverall a good lens for the price what we are payingThanks :)
