Good Jun Fan Gung-Fu resource.
This was Bruce Lee's first published work. It shows a lot of the Seattle Era of Jun Fan Gung-Fu. It has a great explaination of Bruce Lee's interpretation of Yin-Yang. The are a lot of Wu-Shu type Warming Up exercises. There is a section on Kung-FU/Gung-Fu Stances like the Horse Half Horse, Hanging Horse, Stealing Step, Kneeling Stance, Twisted Stance and more. There are photos of various techniques such as finger Jabs, Punches, Back Fists, Elbow Strikes, Knee Strikes, TAN-SAO, PAK-SAO, LOP-SAO, Groin and Side Kicks etc. You can also see stances and moves that indicate Sifu Lee used some tricks from Wing-Cun, Choy-Lay-Fut, Northern Praying Mantis and Silum Gung-Fu. Black and white photos. I love the fact that all the drawings in this book were done by Sifu Bruce Lee. Some photos at the end of the book of Bruce Lee with Master Ed Parker, Sifu James Lee, Master Ralph Castro and more.

Bruce Lee’s 1st (only) book about Chinese Martial Arts
Good expression of Bruce’s Formal training in Chinese Martial Arts. This is his Early (1963 1st printing) attempt at sharing his art with America. Featuring pictures, copies of his handwritten notes, and early drawings, that contrast well with his later book, (released 1973)Tao of JEET KUNE DO, a great read!

An Expression Of Appreciation
I have been simply " Mesmerized " by this ( M.A.P. ) Martial Arts Phenomenon , since he " Busted A Hole " in American Television as, " KATO ". Before him, I thought " ALI " owned the " FASTEST - HANDS "!!Now to have his First book,is not only a " Pleasure " , it's Also , a " TREASURE ". You get to see how much influence " Wing Chun " had on his " Then - approach " to self defense. And I Love his uniform. An interesting read. Thanks Folks . Adrian .

Good Solid foundation on Basic Chinese Gung Fu
This classic book from Master Lee is a solid basic look at gung fu. It explains itself in detail, but it doesn't mean that one is going to become an expert of the art by reading it alone. One must read, understand, and apply what is written here in this little book.To become good at something you have to continue to explore and learn more about the art.The book is just the beginning of a wonderful journey into the martial arts.
