It’s made of plastic
I thought that this fruit basket was made of metal or more sturdy instead of plastic. In conclusion for me It wasn’t what I wanted we are using it without assembling as we usually have lots of heavy fruit at home.

This product isn't worth 1 star! What absolute rubbish. It went straight in the bin. Wish I'd looked at the reviews before ordering! I just can not put into words how absolutely cr*p this piece of plastic is. Shocking!
