Love this bible study!
This is my second bible study from Angie, and I absolutely love it. I love how straight-forward her writing is and how she sprinkles in humor although with great explanations and details throughout. While the study has the ability to be done in groups, I do this individually and still feel like it's one of the better bible studies out there. Love it!

Great content by great author.
Good Christian lessons that cover entire Bible. Lots of history written among her humorous anecdotes.

A Wonderful Study
My bible study group recently finished this study. In true Angie Smith form, it is a great study filled with OT and NT biblical connections, and a little Angie humor. I really love how she takes you on a journey through the life of Jesus in an intentional and logical way.

Matchless
This book is well written and relatable for all Christians, no matter where they are in their walk with Christ. It was like being with Jesus as Angie takes you through his life and ministry. She does a wonderful job linking his life to OT prophecy while at the same time she teaches her readers about customs in NT times.

Very easy read
I've done many Bible Studies but none by Angie Smith before. This one is all about who Jesus is. My favorite part is that it ties back to the old testament a lot. You start there....and then when you get to His birth and even miracles, she ties it all back to prophesies. You will learn little tidbits about the shepherds and Jewish customs of the day that are not in the Bible, but in history. Some studies of done are exhausting to work through and with the busyness of the week I get behind or don't finish a day (or the week) entirely. This one is NOT like that. Her humor and little "breaks" she gives along the way, the way she writes (like she's your friend from church sitting across the table), and the fact that you are learning about the Savior himself, makes it easy to finish. The day's workload is short. If I'm honest, I will say that am eager to continue on with the next day's lesson because I want really want to keep going. That comes in handy when I need to get two done before we meet up to discuss!!!There are 5 days of work each week and seven weeks of studying and 8 week's of video watching/group meetings.I and my study partner are both seasoned Christians and we both agreed that this is a bit like being in children's Sunday School because the parts we study are stories we already know. This, along with the easy reading, makes this perfect for young Christians or seekers. But with that said, there are plenty of things in each week that keep us in discussion for over an hour. Little aha moments and some new questions that we want to seek out answers to on our own. You will see Jesus more for what He came down here to earth to do. You will see his love and compassion for mankind and individuals. You will learn about the different Gospel writers writing styles give us a fuller picture. I could go on and on.I would highly recommend this study.

Loved This Study!
Angie Smith approaches the subject matter with humor, honor and deep reverence. I've been a believer my entire life. I've heard and am familiar with much of what the study goes through. But I've never made the connections between OT and NT. Anyone who believes, new or life long believers can glean a lot from this study and I would only do it in a group setting, because the questions that have come up through it has made me dig deeper than o have in a really long time. This is an excellent study, and the companion videos are to the point, moving and ask really great questions.
