I had a chair like this… only it wasn’t leather. It was a thick cloth material and had arm rest also. I inherited it when the manager retired…lol. I work in a pharmacy and most days I sit down in the back for a majority of the day doing paper work and answering calls. I called in sick on a Thursday and Friday and when I came back that Monday they had thrown my chair away…bc it had a broken wheel but it was perfectly fine to sit in as long as I positioned it the right way…but the thing is the person that threw it away had no authority to do so…he is the son of the owner but does not work there only comes in when he knows the boss isn’t there. I have bad knees snd back so that is why most of my work day I am allowed to sit down. The only chair at the time to replace it with was a regular desk chair…which did not have the height or the arm rest that I was needing for the position of my desk. I needed the arm rest to help me lift myself up out of the chair as well…My knees stayed bent at a bad angle bc the chair height did not go high enough which only led to more intense knee pain and also created more back pain bc I was at a lower level and had to reach up to the desktop to reach the keyboard and phone… so I had a choice to make… replace the chair or continue to cause more pain by sitting in the lower chair… now I know some chairs this style can cost hundreds of dollars but I came across this one…the price was more than I wanted to pay for a chair but worth every penny bc I was able to adjust its height and get back to a position where my knee were not bent to hard and I could easily reach my keyboard and phone. I highly recommend this chair for anyone who needs a little more height and built for a heavier person. So bang for your buck… (this chair is the equivalent to my bosses chair but cost several hundred dollars less). So cheaper does not always mean cheaply made. This chair was definitely worth every penny even if I had to buy it myself. I wasn’t going to fight for a reimbursement from the boss bc I didn’t want to compromise my ability to be able to sit and do my job. So yes this charge is worth every penny. And reasonably priced for the quality. I was skeptical at 1st that at the low price it was gonna be low quality but it is not. Would buy again if I ever needed another chair. If you got through this review. Which I hope you did…I hope it helped you make the decision that $$$$is not a guarantee of a better quality sometimes good quality is priced right so it can be affordable. So if you do need a better desk chair but don’t have $$$$ to spend this is worth it $$.

As someone who sits at a desk 8 to 12 hours a day I have experienced every kind of chair out there. THIS CHAIR IS THE WINNER HANDS DOWN!!!! It is roomy, as comfortable as a recliner, heavy duty, and so much more. I will have to update later as most chairs go flat after about a month but I have faith this one will not. My cat has even scratched the chair without my knowledge but it's such strong material that you can only tell if you look really close at the spots she scratched. So far this chair is a godsend. 10/10 highly recommend!!!!

The chair comfortable. However, uncomfortable to the osteoporosis of my hip and to the sciatic nerve. The longer i sit in the chair the more I can feel the under metal that holds the chair together. The chair also sits forward and so I feel like I'm falling forward a foot stool helps with that feeling a little. The chair is not wide enough for a large person but you can leave the handles off.There are two small tears in the material of the chair they are on the bottom of the chair so people won't see them. However, when one pays almost $200 for a chair you don't want anything to be wrong with the chair.

as the title says heavy people will fit in the chair but the hydraulic gas lift will slowly give out over time and you will find yourself at the bottom. for me this happened within a week of assembly.assembly was easy with help. i found that i had to tighten it almost daily all over the product i suggest some lock tight in the future. the gas lift held well just not for any one over 400 pounds. as a tall and big person the chair is almost right in terms of height at full extension to bad it just slowly goes down takes about 30 minutes for me. sometimes i notice it sometimes i dont but i do have to raise it back up at least hourly when i notice it.Edit:. while the original review points stand customer support after sale was at least able to offer a replacement part and should that part hold up i will be back to adjust further. it should be note that a class4 lift according to google holds up 350 pounds edit update 3/3/22 i never did receive a new gas liftEdit 2: point reduced due to false advisement of a replace cylinder getting sent it has been more than enough time for it to arrive should it arrive this update will not get edited further 3/3/21long term this will have to be replaced near constant tightening and now the base leans do not buy this or similar stick to known safe brands

Pros:It is large and comfortable.Cons:The material on the arms and seat has started to split after ~2 years, but that doesn't seem unnatural.The massage thing never worked for me at all. It just never turned onIt also seems to spin slowly clockwise when I am not anchoring it to the ground.

This is a great chair. I'm a heavy man (400lbs+) and it's hard to find an office chair that not only accommodates my weight as well as my size and is still affordable. I'm only 5'10", but I have very short legs and a long body. If I had 1 negative thing to say about this chair, it would be that the back is a bit short, the head hits me right at the base of the skull, but that really isn't an issue because I rarely sit all the way back or recline. The seat in nice and wide and though I should have probably gotten a chair without arm rests, there is still enough room for the legs without always pressing them against the arms. Overall, this is a great chair and I'm very pleased.
