I absolutely love these travel brushes. Holds water well and the point stays sharp to create very thin/ small details. The only thing I find a bit annoying is that when you put the cap on the other end to use it, it keeps falling off as I'm painting. It case is of nice quality with Velcro closure. Besides the cap always falling off these are amazing brushes for the price and I will definitely be buying them again when they need to be replaced. I highly recommend these travel brushes.

I bought this exact same set a few years ago and the leather case was definitely better quality and made with better craftsmanship than this one I bought. I still have the older one so I can compare them side by side. Not sure why the decrease in quality. Brushes seem to be okay but I only used them once so far.

My Granddaughter uses these all the time since she received them. They're easy to clean and keep together. They travel well and look nice

they don’t screw togedher and the ends don’t stay on the tops very frustrating to use when you need stability.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these. They don't just collapse smaller, they actually come apart and are stored inside the handle to protect the bristles. They fit in my travel watercolor palette perfectly and have plenty of sizes for all uses.

The brushes are fine however, the cap does not stick that well to the end of the brush making it a deal breaker to me. I can’t paint with short handles and the cap is supposed to stick to the end making it longer but it doesn’t stick well. I did not actually try the brushes so I can’t rate that. The fact the cap doesn’t stick bothers me so I’m returning.

Two big issues: 1. Terrible water retention. Can’t lay down a coherent wash even with the bigger one on the set. No such issues with my general use brushes (Princeton Velvetouch, Heritage and Aqua Elite). They are basically useless if you intend to do anything other than dash some paint into a sketch. 2. The cover pieces don’t properly lock when placed in the back of the brush. Ruined a couple of paintings when the cover fell off mid-painting. Do not recommend these. Get some proper brushes and covers for them.

Great brush set for any level. The sizes are very functional for most projects. The quality is great and after a few months of use they have become my go to even in my studio.
