BANDAI Hobby - Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans - #01 Gundam Barbatos HG IBO 1/144 Model Kit

I'm super hyped watching the cartoon and had to get this Gunpla kit. It was really simple to put together and didn't require many stickers. Once finished some details still need to be painted in. It includes the mace and sword along with an extra arm so he can be posed as version 1 or 4. The model is great but could've hidden the joints a little better, specially in the waist and feat. Overall it looks good and has a great range of motion. I would have liked it more if they would have included the Canon, the blue shoulder pads and if the spike would extend from the mace. But for the price, I'm satisfied with what I got. I really hope the come out with a RG version that improves on this kit, but until then this is the version to own.

This was a great first kit for me! The price was right and the kit looked cool, so I went for it. The kit was quite articulate for the price. The frame underneath the armor was a cool mechanic to have too. The colors looked good out of the box; however, there are some places where you could (and probably should) opt to add a little bit more color or switch from stickers to some kind of paint. The stickers and slightly lacking color detail in some places are unfortunate but this kit is fantastic for the price and was a joy to put together and pose.

This was my very first Gundam kit and was much easier to assemble than I expected! I finished it in just one sitting (about 5 hours). It was a lot of fun and easy to understand the Ikea style instructions despite the manual being entirely in Japanese. The figure is incredibly articulable and doesn't fall apart as easily as I expected from changing poses. I do wish it came with a posing stand, though! Aside from that I have no major complaints for this model kit that I only paid $13 for. It's certainly much higher quality than some of the action figures I've paid $30+ for! I highly recommend this as a great starter kit for beginners!!

If you are going to try or start Gunpla then you should choose this one. I know it is not as famous as RX-78-2 or Zaku II, however I think it is the Bandai's HG Gunpla's best. There are several main reason that why this one may be the best. First, It is not RG or MG but It has the body frame unlike most HG which everything is intergraded into one body/skeleton. Secondly, it is pretty detailed and nicely manufactured compared to other older HG Gunpla. Lastly, it is cheap and has enough parts to play with so you do not feel like you are overpaying like other HG Gunpla. I mean you wouldnt get any better detailed HG gunpla than this one. I would say unless you are obsessed about the first gundam or Zaku then go for this Barbatos. You wont regret it.

This was my second kit as I'm very new to gunpla. My first kit was the old '03 HGUC Zaku II and this, by far, was so much more fun to build. The kit itself is extremely easy to build. It's satisfying in a way I didn't think building kits would be. My only knocks on it are the stickers and coloring. Just getting it out of the way: the stickers are bad. They're just not good quality. I only used the stickers for the eyes and the small red stickers on the skirts; painted the rest. The shoulder parts that should be yellow/gold are white so you'll have to paint that section. I'd recommend hand painting or using a paint marker. The little gray sections on the face are also white. Honestly, I tried painting that section, but for a 1/144 and being a novice, I just kept messing it up. Not the kit's fault, that's on me. All in all though, the kit is great. It was frustrating in some aspects, especially being new and a perfectionist at the same time. If I could (and might possibly will), I would purchase this kit again just for fun and to remedy the mistakes I made on the first one.

Cool kit of one of my favorite units. Solid build with fairly nice joints. Pretty quick, it took me about 4 hours with extra work on it.

A great Gundam to build. Shoulders require yellow accent paint and the body halves didn't seem to stay snapped due to the rubbery plastic. I liked how the weapon sprue nubs could be virtually eliminated just by rubbing the rubbery plastic with your finger nail. Definitely a great value for the money and looks so impressive when built. I was not a fan of this Gundam but decided to get it due to low price. My opinion has now changed and I really like the look of it, especially with the weapon! The sword is a nice touch too and I just left it black as I think it looks fine that way. I recommend this kit highly.

Very simple, good looking kit. It only took a couple of hours to complete, and the articulation is excellent. It's a pretty sturdy one too, the pieces don't fall off as easily as some other HG kits I have. It looks even better after some paint/panel lining work. The only (small) problem I have with it is that it's kind of hard to find a pose for it to stand on its own. Other than that, highly recommended kit, especially at this price.

作品自体は好みではないが、機体の デザインが気に入り購入。 大きさは14cmほど、付属パーツは メイス・太刀・ガントレット(盾)、 付け替え用の右腕(ハンド・盾なし)のみ。 十数年ぶりに作ったので、それなりに 時間は掛かりましたが、特に難しい 点はなく完成。 色分けパーツとシールで素組でも 十分格好良く、合わせ目も腕・頭頂・ メイスぐらいであまり目立ちません。 下手なアクションフィギュアより良く動き、 専用スタンドを購入しなくても、figmaの スタンドが代用できる点も良かったです。 ただ、肩の黄色ラインやガントレットは パーツ・シール共フォローされておらず、 自分で塗装する必要があるのが、ちと残念。 またシールが細かいので、ニッパーの他 ピンセットと爪楊枝を使うと良いです。 非常に完成度が高く、私の子供の頃の ガンプラとはまるで別物で驚きました。 手間は掛かりますが、自分で組み立てると 多少の失敗があっても愛着が湧くので、 購入して良かったです！

Muy Facil de armar, una increible pieza de coleccion que no puede faltar para cualquier coleccionista de Gundams. Todo encaja perfectamente y es muy entretenido el proceso de armado.

Mich hat vor allem fasziniert, dass es sich hierbei um ein Modelkit handelt, welches nach dem Aufbau auch als Actionfigur gilt. Die Figur ist ohne weitere Probleme in vielen Posen platzierbar. Trotz der Japanischen Anleitung ist alles sehr detailiert erklärt und mit Bildern versehen. Ich denke, dass auch ungeübte Personen mit diesem Kit etwas anfangen können. Lediglich die Sticker sind direkt in den Müll gewandert. Hier empfiehlt sich ein ordentlicher Paintjob. Das Farbschema ist ohne weiteres zu erkennen und notfalls hilft Google. Ich habe bereits andere Modelle aus dieser Reihe bestellt und freue mich enorm darauf diese zusammen zu bauen!

Bastante fácil de montar y ofrece posibilidades de customización si tienes los materiales. En mi caso sólo pintura a in el lo cual repercute en superficies lisas como los paneles de este tipo de modelos, aún así el resultado es bastante espectacular.
