This rubber sheeting is awesome! My 3 yr old is winding down the potty training, but this product gives me peace of mind that his brand new big boy mattress will be kept nice and stain-free during the transition. I have read reviews that indicated that the corners wrinkle up when the sheeting is dried - this is true; however, I wash my sets (yes I have two - just in case!) on a cold, delicate cycle and then hang them up to dry over my shower curtain. This seems to help keep them in decent shape without the rolling of the edges. Also, since I don't want my child to be aware that mommy is actively worried that he will wet the bed, I place the sheeting under the fitted bed sheet rubber side down and have had no problems with it shifting. We have only had one accident since I purchased these and it worked perfectly. It leaked through the bed sheet to the flannel sheeting, but did not soak through the rubber, so I can verify that these are actually waterproof - yeah!!

The edges will curl/wrinkle with washing. But I prefer these over other incontinence products because they can be washed over and over again in hot water - and never fail to do their job. I have used several products to keep the beds dry, due to an FLUTD cat that spent months urinating all over his favorite places (before he finally needed surgery and went back to the litter boxes). Non-rubber backed products always failed after only a few washings. To keep the full bed dry, I placed two rubber-backed 36x54 sheets (overlapped a bit) just under a flat flannel sheet as a bedspread (so no cat would move the rubber sheets out of place), then only needed to wash the bedspread and rubber-backed sheets - which was often daily. (The lower sheet stayed on overnight, the upper sheet was taken off at night and replaced every morning.) Had the cat continued to have medical issues, I was ready to buy several sets to rotate. Those last minute midnight washings are nerve-wracking.

I ordered this for my grandson who still wets the bed on occasion. Of course in order for it to be comfortable to lay on (as advertised) it must be placed on the bed with the flannel side up. Once it gets wet at all it must be washed. After the first washing the edges curled up and it would no longer lay flat. I hadn't even dried it in the dryer, but let it dry over a clothsline. Once the edges curled, it was no longer comfortable to sleep on and moved all over the bed when he moved in his sleep so it no longer did much good. Wouldn't purchase again even though the price was not too bad.

The fleece side is slightly absorbent and the backing seems totally waterproof. It doesn't slide around. Comfortable to the touch on fleece side. Thin (in a good way!) and flexible. However, the edges curl and makes it uncomfortable (tried trimming them at a different angle, but it didn't help). It is generously sized.

I have been purchasing these flannel waterproof sheets from Amazon.com to cover the comforter on beds where our 15 year old dog sleeps. They have successfully protected the comforters from accidents she has while she sleeps. Of even more importance I have been using them to protect a bed and its head border from a surprise leak we have sometimes in one of the bedrooms. Yesterday during a terrible rain storm, the waterproof sheet saved the mattress, head board and pillows from water damage when the window above it leaked. I am sorry that these waterproof sheets do not come in larger sizes. I highly recommend them.

Ordered this rubber sheet for my mother who is 95. It fits from the top of the bed to the bottom and looks like it will easily wash in a machine. It will last longer if it is line dried. I haven't washed it because I put a blue waterproof pad under her with a towel over it. It is easier to change a towel and pad. The sheet is to protect the mattress. The rubber sheet came quicker than I expected.

This is a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." My daughter is concerned about the "off gassing" of the waterproof crib sheets for her new baby. I asked her what about rubber sheets - her answer - what's a rubber sheet ???See, latex doesn't off gas. Why is no one is marketing these as a baby product?She is so impressed. In MY day we used these sheets for the crib. They are heavy enough to not shift around so they don't need to be fitted. If you have a cradle or bassinet you can buy a big one and cut it in half and have two of them! I made sure to give it to her at her baby shower so the other gals who are expecting will know this awesome secret!Thank you, Amazon, for having the product I needed for my new grandbaby!
