I have naturally curly hair, unfortunately it is also very fine hair. I have tried many products to help keep the curl in my hair, but only ended up with sticky, still hair. For that reason, I went without using any products for years, deciding instead to blow-dry and use a curling iron. That is until I notice Kinky Moves at a local store. I decided to take a chance one more time, read the directions, applied it to my clean wet hair, and went to bed. I just could not believe that when I woke up the next morning and looked in the mirror -- I had a headful of curly hair!!! My hair was not stiff, I could scrunch it and the curl bounced right back. Even the next day, I still had plenty of curl, and if I wanted more, I just put a small dab in my hands and lightly rubbed it through my hair, and I was back in business! It truly is Not Your Mothers!I used the entire tube, went back to the store to get more, just to find out that they no longer had it. Well, I did the one thing a smart woman would do. I went home and ordered it over Amazon! Of course, I received it in two days and am curly again!People, this one works!!

I have been using this for years! My hair is wavy/loose curls, but fine textured. So many curl creams are so heavy, that my hair just hangs from the weight of it. Not this wonderful product! It makes my hair shiny, while controlling any frizz or lankness. My hair is so bouncy from it! I think you if you have hair like mine, you’re going to love it too!! Have fun 😘

I have long (mid back), very thick, frizzy, wavy hair. When my hair is shorter, it could be considered curly, but big curls, not tight ones. However, because it is so long and heavy, the curls are mostly weighted down. When scrunching my hair, my curls barely show up in comparison to the way it used to look. I bought this in hopes of making some of the frizz tame down and make my curls stand out a bit more. I have used it only three times but I can see the difference it makes. I use this only when scrunching my hair. I put about a quarter size amount into my hands, rub my hands together and flip my hair upside down. I do this a couple of times until I feel like I have full coverage (not on my roots). My curls stand out more versus using mousse.There are a few things to note:1) The product is sticky, and I am not a huge fan of how it feels in my hands, but I just wash my hands when I am done.2) I do think it has a strong smell, which could either be liked or not. It threw me off the first time I used it but I kind of like it now.3) the bottle is small and if you have a lot of hair, it empties fast. I doubt I could get more than 10-15 uses out of the bottle, but I do not use it that often.

I’ve tried several products of this type for my curly, frizzy hair and this one is tops! Whether I leave my hair natural or blow dry it out, this product works great!! Not greasy or heavy. Leaves hair a bit “crunchy” when you let your hair air dry, but fluffs right up if you scrunch. Highly recommend!!

I purchased this product in hopes of taming my usually frizzed out curly hair. I wanted something that would keep them in line but without the usual sticky, crusty mess that gel and hairspray leaves me with. I usually wash my hair at night and put a bit of this in (not too much!) while it air dries. I blow it dry to get the rest of the dampness out and then put it in a hair tie on top of my head. When I wake up in the morning, I have awesome curl and hardly any frizz. It's awesome.The downside of this product is both the smell and the remnants it leaves behind. I don't wear my hair curly every single day so after I wash it and try to straighten my hair, I can oftentimes still feel the product in my hair - even after multiple washes. It just doesn't come out all that well. That and the smell isn't that great - a bit too strong in my opinion.

This stuff is amazing! I have loose curls that used to get weighed down and flat if I let my hair grow much past my shoulders, so I kept it short. After finding NYM Kinky Moves, I have now allowed my hair to grow down past the middle of my back, and my curls are always defined, soft (not crunchy), and not at all greasy.I scrunch this into wet (barely not dripping) hair, then squeeze with a towel, then go to bed and let it air dry as I sleep! Perfect curls in the morning. To the point where complete strangers comment on how "perfect" my curly hair is, and I've recommended this stuff to multiple coworkers and strangers.There might be better products out there, but not at this price!Note - I actually find that my curls are MORE defined if I go to bed with damp hair and let it dry as I sleep, rather than air drying while I'm awake. I'm guessing it's because the curls aren't being tugged and jostled as much when they dry while I'm asleep and not moving.

I use this after washing my hair with a curling shampoo. It reduces frizz a LOT (and that means a lot in this gulf coast humidity!)I have combo hair (can curl if i don't dry it, or goes straight if I blow dry it) and love that I don't have to use hair spray or continue trying to scrunch up the curls to make them soft as they dry... this product gives me soft, defined curls without crunch or frizz.It lasts 2-3 days, even if I wash. Which is great when I want to curl my hair (less use of product, less steps getting ready) but I have to plan on having curly hair for a few days because if I try to blow dry, it makes my hair a bit heavy and just feels weighed down. You can smell it for 2-3 days too so if you don't like the smell - oh well! I personally think it smells great :o)I liked it so much I bought one for my sister to try too.
