California Golden Spray Millet - Premium 25 Lbs

I have an aviary full of zebra finches and purchase this spray millet from Amazon whenever I cannot find it at my local pet store. My birds absolutely LOVE this brand of millet and ignore their other food until after they've picked the sprays clean. I toss about six into the enclosure at feeding time in the morning and evening and the resulting scene as the birds swarm the sprays is brings to mind what happens on one of those nature shows when a pride of lions tears apart some hapless prey animal.As far as the quality goes, I've never experienced any problems with it; I can only assume that the reviewer who gave it one star must have gotten a bad batch. Every box I've ever received has been full of huge, fresh fat sprays that ensure there is enough to go around between all my birds. If you have songbirds or small hookbills and want a good deal on quality millet, I would highly recommend this brand.

The 25lb order of millet was shipped quickly and the millet is large, fluffy and perfect.I will be cursing the large order when sealing it all into packages for the pantry, but I was grateful for the Christmas Eve surprise delivery.There are 13 full happy lovebirds in an aviary right now who approve of the quality millet we received.

Have purchased this product many times at bird shows or fairs and have always been a satisfied consumer. Have been using for over 5 yrs. Expected same quality but got millet that was dark in colour, musty smelling, dried out & crumbling. Looked to have been stored past shall we say shelf life. Either you got really old product or you (Amazon) held it for to long.It is being used on or with birds that it doesn't matter if they die. Won't use with my good birds .Probably won't re order unless I can return ship if not satisfied.Bruce Warnick

I have many birds and they eat this Millet like there is no tomorrow. It was shipped, as I expected, in a fast and orderly manner. The seeds are fresh and the packing is marvellous. I thank everyone at the shipping plant, especially the Manger, who seems to send everything out as if it were his own. I do buy the 5lb box as it is the best value for your money and I have never been disappointed. Thank you.

I've been buying Golden Farm's 5 pound boxes for years for my Gouldian Finches. I consider it to be bird cocaine as well as food. Then, I discovered the 25 pound box online. Same stuff, much better price. I do have to break it down into smaller packages for storage, but it's worth the effort. And Golden Farm's spray millet is, in my opinion, the best.

I have tried other less expensive products but always come back to this. Clean, perfect stems that my birds go crazy for.

My last 25lbs box is so dried out the millet falls off in the wind. Really a bad batch. I’ve had much better product through the years. It is not worth $185.00 at all.

We have purchased this spray millet many times before and have never been disappointed until now. This batch is dry. falling off the stem and most of it ends up in the bottom of the box. I am truly disappointed. when I pay well over $100.00 for bird supplies, I expect to get my money's worth. I did not with this order.
