Horrendously loud annoying chime. Unfortunately I don’t recommend it.
On line it looked like the one from RadioShack but when it came it was noticeably smaller.But it appeared it was going to be OK but when we used it on time it’s so noisy loud that I cringed every time I opened the door. And it wasn’t that happy little chime like the RadioShack alarm it was a loud annoying sound.Today I noticed that it was kind of hanging there like the adhesive came loose and when I tried to put it back it wouldn’t chime.I am going to have my son-in-law put the real RadioShack alarm from my back door on the front door and use the one I bought from you guys on the back door since nobody goes in and out. ( if I can get it to work) it wasn’t working earlier. I’m sorry to say but I hate it. It looked like the one I have from radio shack but a rude awakening. A waste of money.

I like(d) this, and it works well, it's just that it needs new batteries every few days! I don't think I can keep it, it's costing a lot of money and is a pain to keep changing the batteries!

Perfect to deter night wandering for Alzheimer's patient
I bought this because my aging father has Alzheimer's and was wandering at night to walk the dog at 3 a.m. My mom sleeps very soundly so she didn't hear him or know he was outside in the yard. We discovered this when i visited them and i am a light sleeper so i heard him going out at night. We installed alarms on the doors and these are LOUD! If my mom doesn't awaken, the neighbors will! The trick is getting it turned off when it is so loud, but it works well.
