I've bleached my hair for a long time and decided to try this to lighten my roots and brighten up my lengths. My natural hair is dark-medium brown, in any case a bit darker than is recommended for this product. My hair was in good condition before using this and is naturally curly, therefore can be a bit dry. I used 40vol peroxide with this and applied conditioner on hair areas that I didn't want the product to penetrate as much. I applied the mixture to the rest of my head and left it for about 40-50 minutes. After rinsing, I found it had lifted my roots decently but the lengths were comparatively grey. Hair felt in good condition after one application. After rinsing, I mixed up some more 12/81 and used weaker peroxide (10 vol mixed with 40vol). I applied a second time to my entire head for 20 minutes, and my roots lifted to a really nice platinum colour. After I rinsed my second application, I did a bleach rinse on my lengths that were a bit over-toned (a bit blue-grey looking), so just be aware of over-toning already bleached hair. The bleach rinse got rid of the over-toned look and my overall hair result was bright platinum. My hair was left in better condition than it would be with my regular bleaching routine. Normally I need to bleach twice and tone to get this result, so I am really pleased. It is still drying, but not as damaging as powder bleach. I'm impressed!

Im sorry to write it but no coverage of grey hair. At first I thought I applied it wrongly, second time that it was something wrong with developer so third time I was applying really thoroughly, bought new developer and still no coverage. Either old dye or just product isn't fit for purpose.
