Fingerprint id worked great. After reading some reviews of other similar safes accepting anyones print I was a little skeptical. I had my kids try unlock it but they were unsuccessful. It takes about 2-3 seconds to read your print. I stored each finger three times from different angles and have yet to have a misread. The door seems pretty durable and I like the fact that the hinge sets back behind a curved door making it almost impossible for someone to pry the hinges off. For 130 bucks this safe is a pretty good deal. I’m happy with this and would recommend this if you don’t want to spend 3-4 hundred bucks

Chemical stink was unbearable. Ugliest color imaginable. Cheap plastic laminate inside was glued in sloppily, with chunks of glue at the overlapping edges, crooked seams. The logo sticker on the outside had been taken off and put back on, because it was loose and upside down- although it was being sold as “new”. Goodness. It shouldn’t be so hard to find a simple, decently-built item these days (especially for this price). Sigh. Oh well. Returning.
