Good Solid Lens Cap
A big lens, deserves a big lens cap, so when I acquired a Tamron SP 500mm mirror lens and the original cap was missing, I found ordered this. Good solid plastic with a strong spring to retain the cap. Looks nice with the red company logo on the front and the screw-in hood for the lens still slips over for storage.

I've purchase off brand (ie. non-Canon) lens caps in the past but they never seem to stay on the lens very well when handling or when pulling the camera out of my bag or putting it back in. But this lens cap is well a made with a strong spring and it works just as well or maybe even better than the Canon version for a lot less money. Great value.

The best lens cap money can buy
I was tired of my lens caps falling off with nothing but a stiff breeze and I wanted to adapt all my lenses to a 77mm standard. These caps are sturdy, go on quick, stay in place and are easy to remove. Breakout Photography gear may not be the cheapest but they are the best. I expect these will last for a very long time
