Love the fragrance. The packaging is lovely. Fast delivery. Very pleased!!!

This fragrance is much nicer than I was expecting. The noticeable ylang ylang did bring to mind Chanel, but just a hint. It quickly settled into a much warmer and subtle scent. Only a spray or two is sufficient. The amber seems the most prominent over time. Do keep in mind that fine fragrances tend to react slightly differently on different people because of natural chemical compositions. This does arrive in a very dramatic package - a black pyramid with the little bottle tucked inside. I don't know whether the larger sizes come in a bigger pyramid, or if the platform for the bottle is just carved down more. Either way, it makes an impressive presentation. Too bad it's just the packaging, though. The bottle itself is not very impressive. It's a dark glass bottle with a plastic spray top and a plastic cover over that. The top loses a lot of the impressiveness, and frankly detracts from the luxurious experience enough that I don't feel the price is justified. Interestingly, my opinion would probably be better if the bottle itself didn't use the seemingly cheap plastic. Overall, this is a nice scent that I'm happy to wear in my rotation. If amber notes play well with your chemistry, then this will likely be pleasant on you as well.

Best cologne ever

This item did not come in the pyramid gift box. It came in a bubble wrap and it leaked. I’m not confident that this product was genuine. I was promised a refund and I still don’t have it.

I received this Alitura Presence Fragrance as part of a promotion. Here is what I found: 1. If you are giving this as a gift, the packaging is fantastic. I personally do not need dramatic packaging, but some people like it. 2. It is a small bottle so would be good for traveling especially if you are flying and have to go through airport security. At this price, I do wish the bottle were bigger. 3. The bottle just looks like nail polish, so I don’t know how to feel about that. 4. I do not have a sensitive nose, so I cannot detect all the “notes” that the seller and advertisement describes, but I will describe it as nice. Not floral but rather woodsy, I guess. 5. I suppose this could be called unisex. To me, different perfume smells different on different people. My husband and I both tried it. I did not care for it on myself but thought it smelled fine on my husband. He was the same way. He thought it smelled nice on me, but said it was not something he could picture himself wearing. That is a completely personal opinion. I am one of those people that like to try different scents so this was nice to try since I had not heard of this brand before. Even though it did not work for myself or my husband, it smelled nice, and I am going to see if either of my sons are willing to try it.

This perfume came in a very interesting pyramidal gift box. It definitely seems more upscale due to the packaging. The bottle itself does remind me a lot of a bottle of nail polish in both size and shape as another reviewer pointed out. When I sprayed it on to my wrists and then dabbed behind my ears it felt more like spraying on an alcohol based product rather than a perfume oil, and the ingredients confirmed my feeling, as denatured alcohol is the first ingredient listed. The perfume scent is supposed to be a blend of three but the cedar notes are definitely the strongest of the scent. I feel like the complexity of the scent is missing with the too heavy cedar note and I don’t see myself reaching for this particular scent very often, I was really looking forward to the combination as listed in the description. If you want a gender neutral/somewhat more masculine scent that skews heavily to cedar then this might be the product for you. It is long lasting and non irritating thus far.

I need for you to understand something. I love fragrances. I love expensive fragrances. I love expensive fragrances that are almost impossible to find within 100 miles of where I live. The first thing that I thought of when I smelled this for the first time was a certain French "maison" formed by artists in the Saint-Germain area of Paris by in the 1960s. This smells exotic and expensive. I am very sensitive for overly floral cloyingly sweet fragrances. This is not that. The ingredients are clean. The packaging is simple. The price is really good. I think that you would be pleased with this item.

I’m always willing to try a new fragrance. So when I saw this ‘Alitura Presence Fragrance’ on Amazon and the exquisite packaging it came in, I had to order it. My bottle did come in the ‘pyramid package’ as shown on the site. And it definitely beautiful. But the fragrance, though nice, is not for me. It’s advertised as being for both men or women. It definitely reminds of a women’s perfume the moment I sampled it. It’s not real heavy, and to me, is somewhat ‘woodsy’ with a touch of musk thrown in. And it doesn’t linger. I do like the fact the bottle includes an applicator integrated into the cap. There’s a lot less waste that way. But to me, that’s does signal it’s a woman’s fragrance. My wife will use it. All in all, this ‘Alitura Presence Fragrance’ is better suited for a woman in my opinion. It’s not super..is pleasant smelling…but is definitely a perfume.
