Lord Premium Safety Razor Merkur Type Head Model LP1822L aka L6 & 10 Shark Super Chrome Blades

This is a great razor if you're new to DE shaving, it is just a tad lighter than some of the more expensive razors, but still heavy enough to provide a pleasent shaving experience. I didn't like the blades that came with the razor, and I would recommend that you replace them with either some Feather or Blue Bird blades, as the quality is far superior both the Lord and Shark blades that were included when I purchased this razor. Another quick note, do yourself a favor and buy a decent shave soap rather than using some of the creams and gels on the market, your face will thank you for it!

The razor is fine considering it was one of the lower priced models I found. My concern with it is that replacing the blade is inconvenient and requires you to handle the shaving head (fingers near blade edge). To replace the blade you have to unscrew the handle from the head and take it apart. My prior experience with DE razors was one with a gull wing type head and I didn't realize how this razor worked.It provides a good smooth shave and it has a nice heft and balance to it. This is a good starter razor. Not the highest quality, but if you are new to safety razors this is a great entry handle.

Great razor for the price. Finish is not perfect, but the plating is good. The handle does not thread on as far as one would like, but it stays on tight. We will see how long the aluminum handle threads last. A mild aggressiveness with a good blade. Well worth the price. A few months of daily use and no issues.

After much research into DE shaving, I didn't want to spend too much money in case I didn't like it. Well this razor works and feels great. The finish is good and does the job. It's much lighter that most of the expensive ones, but a fraction of the cost. Anyway, I would highly recommend this product especially for a beginner.

It's my second razor... if these things drop they are broken, but they are sturdy otherwise.The razors dull quickly and I am still trying to find a quality razor.
