I use the tongs -- really, big tweezers -- in the kitchen and for taking some pills out of big bottles. I have also used them for recovering items from difficult-to-reach places in my car. I expect they will find other uses in various places. They are well make, and the price is good.

There's endless uses for such as these beyond the kitchen. You don't know how many tight places you have to get into until you have 'em. Also great if it's getting harder to bend over.

I use these in the kitchen daily. Because these are made either with type ferritic or martensitic stainless steel, they are magnetic. I like that for I keep them on a magnet strip to make them easier to find. They are very useful and dishwasher safe.
