Way more protective than most ipad cases you can buy for 70$ from apple. This is way more affordable and way more protective. The only problem I have with it is that the button to turn it off and on has protection around it which makes it really hard to press and I have pretty long nails so it makes it nearly impossible to press. Even without nails it's hard to press,but this problem isn't that bad because the flap that goes over the device's screen does turn it off and on so it's not that annoying. I would reccomend this if you want a good case.

My son loves it. It keeps the IPad protects (appears sturdy) and looks nice. He especially loves the stand because he can stand the iPad as a screen monitor and use his wireless keyboard to type his work school.

I wanted a little more protection for my Ipad Pro as I noticed over the covid period I use it more and more and more. Fits great. Opens and closed great. I like having the pencil holder at the top, I dont have the pencil but I use it to lift and close the ipad, it means no thumb print on the screen LOL.

I would have liked the pencil to have complete wrap around protection to hold the pencil versus rely on a magnet. The closure flap is flimsy and could be and should be allot stronger. Theses are my only complaints with the case.

I've had several iPads going back to the iPad 2, and cases for all of them. This is easily the best I've seen. Unlike some it doesn't fall apart. It protects the iPad well; other cases have has problems. I had one iPad get a cracked screen after a fall while in one other case. This is quite unlikely with this one. The cradle for the Apple Pencil is quite useful; I don't have aPencil, but I do have a stylus (less than $10 for a pack of 10 at Walmart) and the cradle works well with the stylus.

Excellent protection for iPad; turns off with flap; holds capacitive pen; fits into sleeve; provides easy and safe handling of iPad.

This is not my first UAG iPad Pro cover. I have one for the 1st Generation iPad and I love it. The only drawback is they are a bit heavier than I would like. However, the weight is a reasonable trade-off of solid protection. The first drawback to this new product is you can not separate the screen cover from the rest of the case. This was a great feature for when one is holding the iPad for a while. You could take the screen cover off and cut the weight in half. I would also remove it when using the Acuvar Tablet Holder Tripod Mount. I can still use the mount, but it just doesn't seem as secure. (I am going to revise this. The last time I tried to use this mount with the cover, I decided it was to precarious and will no longer attempt to use it with this mount :-(.) The case itself is pretty tight and a bit difficult to put on and remove quickly. Normally not a big deal, but as I will now switch between this "travel case" and the lighter Apple iPad cover, it's an inconvenience. The real hassle is the USB-C opening doesn't allow for most USB-C cables to easily connect to the iPad. I actually have to pry the cover out of the way to connect the USB-C cable. Not a problem is the Apple cover, but a real pain in what will be the "travel mode." I may end up simply cutting the offending piece of rubber from the case. You also need to be very deliberate to press the power button. Anyway, I selected this case for its protective properties. For that reason, I continue to be impressed. But the drawbacks are annoying.

This is the second UAG product I've purchased. Have found both to be durable, long lasting and user friendly. They are weightier than some others but worth the weight for the security of having a rather expensive piece of equipment well protected.
