I have a number of antique tractors and I use the Jackery units to charge the batteries 30 minutes to an hour prior to starting while I accomplish other tasks. This is not a jump box it is a battery charger it is made well and all components are strong and gives another usage for a Jackery unit. I charge batteries to run lights in my barn. For Lead acid batteries only I beleive.

My 4Runner has developed a parasitic drain that leaves the battery dead if I don’t drive it every day. While I have a jumpstart unit, trickle charging seems a better way to go so I don’t have to fret about driving around waiting for the alternator to do it’s thing. Only complaint is that it states its for Lead Acid batteries only. Was hoping to use it to trickle charge the AGM battery I’ll be swapping in after I’ve found the cause of the drain. But will still have a place in my tool kit since you never know when something like this might come in handy

About twice a week I use a portable air compressor to inflate a trailer tire. Often times it puts a strain on my truck battery.I bought this Jackery accessory for the times where my older battery was straining to turn over after inflating the tire. It works as expected.This morning I decided to clamp the portable air compressor directly to the Jackery cables and it works! Now I don't have to worry about the strain on my battery.

Good product. However, if your battery is on its last leg, this product won’t even matter. My last car battery was dying last winter. I hooked the Jackery Explorer 290WH up and it had to sit there for 20 minutes. The engine didn’t turn over, it wasn’t this products fault. I did it again but let it set for 40 minutes and half a Jackery battery later, it finally turned over. I blame the old state of my car battery and the size of the Jackery that I used because this product did relay the energy. I hope this review helped.Have a nice day.

There are cheaper ones out there but I chose the Jackery because I have a Jackery generator. The product is excellent quality and works as it should.

Already used these to recharge the battery in a car we let sit too long.

I'm so glad I bought these! I've already used them twice to jump my own car battery. All I had to do was connect them to the positive & negative terminals on my battery, come back into my house and wait at least 15 minutes, go back out and disconnect them from the battery, and then start my car (it's important to disconnect them before starting the car). Even though I have roadside assistance, when I'm at home, I'd rather use these and save my roadside assistance for real roadside problems.
