Easyshapes: Organic Chemistry Stencil Drawing & Drafting Template.

I bought this to use in my ochem class because I wasn't that great at drawing all the shapes, and when I drew them myself, they were always different sizes and never looked the same, and they made my already messy notes look even messier. I loved that with this product, I could easily draw the basic shapes I needed to for my class notes or homework, and they were all consistent in size and shape, which made the overall product look neater and more put together.If there was one thing I didn't like about this product, it would be that the lines on some of the items in the stencil aren't big enough, so you can't really get a pen or pencil in there and most of the time, if I needed to use one of those, I just ended up free-handing them because my pens/pencils wouldn't fit.

This has all the shapes you need and is useful for when you have time.If you're like me however... This stencil is not very practical. When your mind is frazzled and your ochem professor is talking 30 mph about something you don't understand, the last thing you want to do is carefully outline things and look for the right shape, etc.However, it does have just the right amount of info on it and doesn't give anything away. My ochem professor didn't let this one girl have a stencil because it had too much on it, but she said mine was fine.

I've used this stencil for ochem 1 & 2 and it has saved me tremendous time and effort in my studies. Instead of attempting to make multiple perfectly shaped hexagons in my notes, this stencil allowed for me to focus on the material instead of my drawings. My prof. even let me use it on exams. This stencil makes it so you can focus more on the material, and have your work look amazing as well. Plus, it is a lot of fun to use! I highly recommend!

makes homework a breeze

This is a very useful tool when trying to draw precise schematics (especially chair conformations). Sometimes I get lazy and just do it by hand, but if you want to impress a professor or impress friends whip out this little template and you'll get a great response :) Durable and bendable, doesn't feel like its going to break. Its been in my backpack for a while and hasn't snapped or anything - usually things end up getting broken in there.

The tool is great, but the stencil slots are too narrow for most pens. This will only work if you're using mechanical pencils because the lead is thin.

Seems like a great product but quite fragile as it seems flimsy. I feel if I were to slightly bend it, it would break unlike some more of my harder plastic rulers or stencils. Also be warned, maybe it was just mine, but I could not fit my generic pen tip within the spaces to actually use the item. It seems only a mechanical pencil with small pencil lead will work. I don’t use pencil and this became an issue with me personally and I would also like to be able to use on an iPad, the Apple Pencil definitely does not fit within the space.Otherwise if you use a pencil this would be a wonderful product. Unfortunately for me it was not. I hope this helps others.

The template is great in theory but it is clear. Makes seeing the cutouts difficult to see on white paper. Also, some of the other reviewers note that the cut outs are not wide enough to allow a pen or sharpie pen to reach through I can confirm this. I would not recommend this template to anyone and would encourage others to find a colored template with wide cut outs.
