I wish I could give it 10 stars!
I was so excited to get this. I broke my dominant arm and shattered my elbow. It’s at least 6 months to heal. I really needed my nails cut after two months. I’m used to being independent and it’s even more important at 65. I was getting ready to go to a nail salon but my arm still really hurts especially my wrist. So I was nervous to have anyone touch and hold my hand so I looked up nail clippers for challenged. Found this clipper. Works great! Got all my nails trimmed, all by myself, with very little pain! Bravo! Thanks so much for offering items that let us be independent and do for ourselves. It’s important. Very important. Easy to use, well made, delivered quickly, and easy to store. Highly recommend and will buy from this seller again with confidence. Cheers!

It really, really works!
This fun manicure clippers just changed my life. My fingers on my left hand can't operate regular nail clippers without a real effort, and this device made it so easy trim my nails. They may even help strengthen my fingers. I can see a real PT value to them in the design. I have toured in Japan, and love the Japanese. They are so innovative and fun. Thanks, Harac.

great for arthritic hands
I was skeptical but not anymore. I can cut my finger nails by myself with no problem. Yay! But I can't use this on my tough, fungusy toenails. Also, one little thing; it's a good thing these nail cutters use is pretty self-explanetory because all the instructions were in Chinese. No English tranlation.

Almost perfect for me
It ships in rather nice packaging, which surprised me given the low price point. It's very easy and comfortable to hold. I bought it primarily because I suffer from Raynaud's Syndrome, making it very uncomfortable for me to touch cold objects, like metal. So the plastic outer portion of the clippers is great. The one feature I don't like is the fact that the plastic top of the clippers do not attach to the metal top of the clippers. I suppose this is because glue tends to wear away over time, and that would be the likely manner in which the metal hinge would be kept attached. So in order for me to get to the "filing" portion of the clippers (more on that in a second), I have to touch the metal lever and flip that up as well. The plastic cover just rotates without any effort, but the metal handle stays down unless you flip it up and back. The "filing" part of the device is an ellipsoidal surface (it's not a flat oval, it's rounded) that feels like it's covered with hundreds of tiny hooks or something. Very different from what I'm use to with "ordinary" clippers and the filing board that swings out. This surface is essentially sticky if you try to touch it–thus the sense that there's a ton of velcroish hooks there. Obviously, this isn't the case, as it does file fingernails very well, so it's not hooking anything by any means. Just a very odd-sensation for me–maybe this is what emory boards are like?In any case, in does it's job well. It doesn't cut as close as I'd like, but I'm probably in the vast majority with how short I like my nails. There often feels like "just a bit more" that I could clip off that the clippers can't get. But I think I'm just abnormal in that regard. This should satisfy most any user, I would imagine.

These Look Like They Are For Newborns
I read some of the reviews and saw that some people wished these were bigger. That gave me the impression that they are smaller than regular clippers, but that did not prepare me for the actual size. These would be great for newborns and maybe up to toddlers. They are definitely too small for an adult. My thumb nail is too thick to put into the opening and it would take about 3-4 cuts to cover the width of an adult fingernail. I hope the pictures next to fingernail and toenail clippers help show the difference. Try to look at the comparisons of the openings.. I plan on returning them and using the refund to buy a better pair. Update: I returned to Amazon and they quickly issued my refund. This product may be bad, but Amazon is A+!

Great clippers for hand pain
Love these clippers! I had hand surgery on both hands & these clippers make it very easy for me to be able to clip my own nails. Even once my hands are completely rehabbed, I will continue using these clippers due to their ease of use & even being able to use my forearms & elbows to operate them for my fingernails. For toe nails, I can use my fingers & palms since it’s mainly my thumbs that aren’t functional right now. They’re durable & cut my nails very quickly & easily. They’re worth the money!

Great Buy
I have very arthritic hands. Most fingernail clippers are too slippery for me to great a grip strong enough to clip my thick, hard nails. These clippers are very sharp and easy to use. Best nail trim I’ve done in years!

Great handle, but nail cutting opening to small for senior vision
I really liked the ease that the handles provided. But as a senior with less than perfect vision and a very small cutting opening I found them unusable for toenails. if they would make this with a wider cutting opening, that would be perfect for me.
