Excellent item perfect fit when connecting more than one cord

I needed an extra Toslink output when I received a TV dongle for my hearing aids, allowing me to stream TV audio directly to my aids. My TV only had one Toslink connection which I was using for my sound bar. After a bit of research I found this splitter and decided to purchase it. It has exceeded my expectations. My primary concern was the possibility of audio lag when sound was playing to the splitter but the audio signal is perfectly synched with the TV - no lag whatsoever. It does require power but that was an easy connection for me to make. Ideal for my needs.

This was a good price for the job is does. We used it to connect our TV with a sound bar & hearing aid streaming. We can connect another device if we decide to. I gave it a 4 star due to the fact it came with instructions so small we had to have it enlarged to see it.

Finally, this is something that can actually split an optical signal effectively. Tried other units with the one-in, two out configuration and none of them work. This unit is able to split the signal between a soundbar and a pre-amp - both devices pickup the signal with no error message presented. There are other units that look the same at a lower price, won't be returning this - but encourage some time looking for similar units which (as of this review) cost 20% less. Just glad to be able to find something that works!

Works perfectly.I'm taking the signal from my T.V. and splitting it between three sound systems. I have a sonos sound bar and two bose systems.

Just what I needed to communicate with multiple devices when advised that it wouldn’t work! Compact and easy to use.

Not much to say. It splits a single digital signal to 3 outputs. I use it to connect a sound bar and bluetooth headphone base. Have a 3rd port to spare. I have someone hard of hearing in my family who prefers headphones. Many TVs do not support multiple audio output use at the same time. My family room TV is one of those. This product resolves this issue. The unit is small and easy to tuck away out of site. Also comes with an optical cable. Price is quite fair too.
