I was doing some work on my 90hp Johnson, so I decided to install new coils, we’ll I installed them and they work, but 2 weeks later my new plug wire came in, so when I removed 2 of the wires the stud on the coil came off with it well okay this sucks, so I removed another one and the same thing happened! Same yourself the time and spend a few dollars more and buy a different brand

Was trouble shooting ignition problem with my boat for weeks bought these coil for my Johnson 200 because description said they were alternates and are not , took boat to shop and $800 dollars later found out none of these new coils work at all, installed oem coils and problem is fixed.Now I got new paper weights!

115 Johnson 1992 added this and because there is resistors on the oem per the boat micanic, he had to buy new oem parts that made it run much better.

I put these on my 88 johnson, they work great for me. Greatly improving my idle from previously. Easy to install, only took about 15 min.
