Blade Chroma Prop Guard Set

These are excellent blade protectors. The only negative thing is the shallow hex hole for hex wrench to screw them in. the tool has to be pushed downward pretty hard to keep the tool from slipping in the hole, otherwise, a very good investment

Very good product. I was looking for something to protect propellors, and associated parts, against accidental damage. This is a good-fitting well made, but light weight product. The product did not include the small allen wrench needed for installation, so 4 of 5 stars.

Nice looking. Works well. Light enough. Why only 2 stars? (1) Difficult to screw in. (2) No allen wrench supplied. (I bought a set with a tiny Allen wrench in it ... Did not work. This screw is metric ... had to buy another set. (3) Blade Chroma brags (and rightfully so) about snap together parts. This one snaps in, but not tight enough, so you have to screw it in. 4 long tiny screws with no included wrench. Makes the craft too big to carry in back pack or suite case. So you have to disassemble it, reassemble it every time you go some where. What are the chances of losing the Allen wrench or one of the tiny screws?

The prop guards snap right onto my drone pictured. I'm not sure why other people who bought this say they put a bolt in it but this snapping method allows me to store it in my office cabinet still. The guards DO NOT fall off under the air flow from the props.

Fit my Chroma Blade great! I used a little heat from a hair dryer to get a good fit. Easy to put on and adjust accordingly. No instructions but your really do not need them.

Man sollte sich nicht der Hoffnnung hingeben, daß diese Propguards im Flug bei "Feindberührung" mit einem Baum oder so noch groß etwas reißen können.Aber wenn die Chroma in Bodennähe wegkippt, sei es bei der Landung, oder durch Hängebleiben an Graswurzeln etc. beim Start, dann ist ohne Schutz ruckzuck mindestens einer der Propeller hinüber, nicht selten auch mal zwei.Mit Propguards passiert da schon deutlich weniger.Update 24.08.16:vor ein paar Tagen blieb ging die Chroma wegen eines Motorproblems in die automatische Notlandung, die schließlich in einer Baumkrone endete.Bei der anschließenden Bergung ein weiterer "Absturz", zusammen mit einem Teil des Astes, aus ca. 6-7m Höhe.Erstaunlicherweise trotzdem nicht viel passiert, nur bei zwei der Propguards jeweils der mittlere Steg gebrochen, aber so daß es sich noch gut kleben ließ (und sicherheitshalber noch Schrumpfschlauch drüber). Propeller usw. noch alles einwandfrei.Ohne die Propguards wäre der Kopter womöglich nicht so im Baum hängengeblieben, aber es hätte garantiert mindestens einen Propeller so erwischt, daß er nicht mehr zu gebrauchen wäre.Vom weiteren Schaden durch den dann freien Fall aus ca. der doppelten Höhe mal ganz zu schweigen.Anschaffung hat sich somit schon gelohnt

Sehr stabil. Ein muss für jede Drone. Einfache Montage. Gute Qualität. Sehr guter Schutz falls die deine mal "Feind" Kontakt hat.
