I installed a couple in my motorhome next to the lounge seating area so mobile devices can be used when relaxing. Easy to install, and do the job properly. I like the flap that covers the socket, that's a nice touch.

I got these to hardwire Alexa-Auto units into my 2 cars. I didn't want wires hanging down across the dash and head-unit, so this set of 2 USB port units were just right for the job. I'm an engineer with electronics experience and would advise that only knowledgeable persons wire up these USB units. Mine were wired into the cig lighter power socket wires because it's only active when the car is running and was the nearest power source to where I mounted the Alexa-Autos. The USB port units were installed behind the head-unit, out of sight. The rotating door cover is easily broken, so be a little careful when opening the cover if you mount the unit anywhere it can be touched.
