LED Lenser - M17R, Rechargeable Flashlight

This is the best flashlight I have ever owned. I live on a lake and across the lake is a public park and wanted something quick and easy that has the ability to go the distance and super bright... This is it! AWESOME!!

I have used mag lights for 16 years in my career and compare it to that. First the good: When I got this light and turned it on it is superior to any other light for brightness and is easy to use for wide and narrow beam lighting. Now the bad: From normal wear on my belt it moves the battery connections just enough to turn it off. It does not just tighten and work again, you have to remove the battery and then reconnect it to get it to work again as described in the trouble shooting guide manual. I called Lenser and they said should not do that but I have to send it back in for repair. Next, what I was not aware of from the pictures is that the lens is recessed in the center by about 1/2 inch, which is not easy to clean and can scratch the magnified glass ball if I get into muddy conditions, which happens time to time in my job. For a retail price at over $400 I expect much more durability and lens protection.

It's like having a spotlight in your hand. I like the easy mounting wall charger. I do have a tip for everyone, don't ever touch the battery or pins on end caps of this flashlight, it will not work until you clean it spotless. Learned that the hard way, that's the reason it doesn't get 5 stars.

Great flashlight==easy to use and focus. Two brightness levels. Feels solid in your hands. Quick to recharge and lasts a long time on low power.

Best light. Little expense but it's worth it
