I cook and bake quite often, although now that the temp in the Southwest is a steady 90 degrees everyday, the baking is kinda on hold, and the cooking is mostly done outside on my Char Broil. It's a gas grill, and amazing what you can actually do with it besides cook burgers, just takes a little adjustment for cooking times and the pot or pan your gonna use. I have a few pie pans, none of them are the deep dish kind, none of them really any good for cooking a pie in, and really just use them for heating foods up, or a side dish that may call for a glass pan this size. When I received this great looking deep dish pie pan/plate, it really filled a need in my kitchen, as well as something I've been looking for. This has a great look, the one I ordered is the black, with white inside, and the finish is perfect looking. Besides being so nice looking, it's extremely versatile, and will go into oven, freezer, microwave, under broiler, and into the dishwasher. Obviously, much more than your average pie pan. This sells for $24.99 (as of this review), and really an excellent buy for a pie pan that can be used in so many ways. I've only had the chance to bake one pie in it since I've had it, but it does the job beautifully. I love it, a great buy.
