We had a traditional wooden kitchen knife block with about 11 slots in of varying lengths, this has served us well for several years, but the trade off was that a growing number of sharp knives were being stored in the cutlery drawer rather than in the knife block.This has lots of slots across the top, allowing you to fit kitchen knives of most sizes, and scissors, into the block giving a much greater choice for where your knives go, and allowing for many more knives than a standard knife block.The block seems well made from sheet stainless steel, and the plastic block that holds the knives can be removed for easier cleaning. Aesthetically it is a nice looking block, although when disassembled for cleaning it's nothing special to look at.It is pretty solid and looks nice on the work surface, it has a chamfered bottom which adds a little interest to the otherwise cylindrical shape. This was a great addition to the kitchen and has made a huge improvement to our once over full cutlery drawer.

Excellent knife block. My previous one was no way near up to this standard and cost more.This is sturdy. I have several long knives of various thickness and a range of smaller ones.they all fitted right down into the block leaving no blade exposed I’ve also included into the block two pairs of scissors and knife sharpening rod. There’s still room to add more should I need.This block is well worth the money and I’m very pleased with the product. The block has a good smart look

Well constructed, lots of room for knives, scissors and somewhere for that meat thermometer.However it was bigger than I expected, but on the plus side it gives me more room to place everything.Good value for money, hope it cleans up well.

This does exactly what it says it does. Our old one had bristles inside which you had to push the knives into. The problem was that blunt ended knives like bread knives couldn't force their way in, or if you pushed too hard, they wouldn't come out easily. This one has horizontal slots which are a much better solution. Not had it long enough yet to wash or test for rusting, but it's a quality product and I would think just needs a bit of care.

So glad I bought this product as it keeps all my knives and scissors in one handy place nice and tidy, plus when you go to take out a knife it doesn't topple over like some do as it has a decent size base!.

Really impressed, arrived in good time. The item appears really well built, solid and a quality item with loads of space for knives.I've got 10 and still there's plenty of room, slots allow for all blade thickness although the slot for the steel is a tad snug. The design also ensures less friction on the blades helping to protect them.Overall happy to recommend

I'd been searching for a modern/contemporary knife block to complement my new kitchen, and didn't want one of the wooden varieties. First impressions are excellent. As knife blocks go this one looks ultra smart, and takes up hardly any surface space at all. I have 12 knives of varying sizes in the block and could possibly fit another two if necessary.I like it and I'm glad I chose it. I can thoroughly recommend this product.

The plastic honeycomb mount at the top of the device is quite easy to remove to clean which also gives access to the steel inside for cleaning . The plastic insert has storage for a knife sharpener and scissors . Well thought out product.

Elegí este taco de cuchillos aburrido de los de filamentos, en los que es difícil encajar los cuchillos y se deterioran con rapidez. Las láminas paralelas permiten una inserción comoda y segura y, además, su tamaño permite almacenar de forma ordenada una cantidad considerablemente mayor de cuchillos respecto a las que anteriormente tuve. Son muy útiles las ranuras para las tijeras y la chaira -nunca lo hubiera pensado-, que permiten aprovechar un espacio inservible para cuchillos (salvo que sean muy pequeños) y tener a mano ambos objetos. Especialmente útil tener cerca una buena chaira, cuyo uso he recuperado de forma habitual gracias a su disponibilidad, en detrimento de la piedra. Por último, la base es estable y la profundidad suficiente para insertar completamente la hoja de mis cuchillos más largos (trinchadores). En suma, muy satisfecho con la compra; espero que siga disponible mucho tiempo porque ya no quiero otra.

Buonissimo prodotto acquistato come regalo per i miei genitori che cercavano per la nuova cucina un nuovo ceppo in sostituzione di uno di legno datato... Ho fatto centro in quanto è bene ,fatti, comodo e facile da pulire, ha un bell'aspetto m soprattutto molto spaziosi che era ciò che cercavo in quanto hanno molto coltelli ed altri modelli più o meno economici non li avrebbero contenuti! Ha anche uno spazio riservato alle forbici sempre presenti in cucina, altro punto a favore! Chiaramente il fatto che sia molto spaziosi implica che non sia troppo piccolo e quindi per chi sulla cucina ha poco spazio non è sicuramente adatto! Nessun difetto per adesso! Consigliato

Diese Messertonne ist einfach fantastisch. Wir haben jetzt 13 Messer verschiedener Stärke und Größe, davon welche mit großer und massiver Klinge [21 cm] bis hin zu welchen mit kleiner und schmaler Schneide [8 cm] in dem Messerspeicher untergebracht. Auch eine Schere und ein Wetzstahl haben nun hier Ihren Platz gefunden. Alle Messer, die Schere und der Wetzstahl sind optimal und gefahrlos aufbewahrt. Der Edelstahl lässt sich einfach reinigen und ist tatsächlich nicht arbeitsintensiv. Diese Messertonne braucht aber etwas Platz, da sie wirklich groß ist und keinesfalls unauffällig.Nun haben endlich auch unsere wuchtigen Messer einen passenden und sicheren Aufbewahrungsort. Wir sind sehr zufrieden, deshalb Kaufempfehlung!
