This book will definitely enlighten you if you.....
All the gospels were written long after the death of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). The contradictions among all the gospels are so obvious that you do not need to be a scholar to find them. Consider the following verses from Mark Chapter 16 which outline the characteristics of a Christian:15. He (Jesus) said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18. they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."Can the Christians demonstrate the paranormal characteristics mentioned in above verses. Can they speak in any foreign language without learning it? Can they drink poison without harming themselves? Can they heal people with any diseases just by a mere touch? Now what does Matthew says about it. Matthew 28: 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew does not mention those paranormal stuffs at all. Then how did Mark come up with those extra verses? Moreover, was Jesus sent to all nations or just the tribes of Israel? What does Matthew Chapter 15 says about it? 22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. Mark Chapter 7:25-27 mentions the same thing. If you read this book considering all these and other contradictions and discrepancies in all the gospels in mind, it will definitely enlighten you.

Jesus-A Prophet of Islam? Only if you are muslim
This book opened my eyes to the type rationalization moslems can give to believing in Jesus. References cited in the text and footnotes are as substantial as soup made from the shadow of a sparrow who died of hunger. Seriously, they are at many times incomplete phrases lifted from texts and authors who continue to explain what they mean. It is here I came across the gospel of Barnabas, a writing which must have been completed/edited after islamism conquered the middle east and much of India. It uses phrases which struck me as coming directly from the koran.

An excellent book for all those who love Jesus
This is a book not just for Muslims. It is a book that talks about the history and evolution of the worship of Jesus from prophet to Christ to God-in-flesh. It is a history book full of the Islamic love of a very great man. I've had a copy for almost twenty years and I buy one for all my friends - Muslim and Christian. Enjoy.

A point of view of the Muslims on Fundamental Christian Doctrines
I was born to a Catholic family, baptized as Catholic and graduated from a Catholic school. All the theology I learned I learned from books written by Catholic writers and theologians. That's where the problem lies. A Catholic writer or theologian cannot be critical to the theology set forth by Vatican under pain of excommunication. That is why I find this book by Muhammad 'Ata ur-Rahim very informative. In the same vein, if I were to research on theology that lies deep into the beliefs of Islam, I would prefer reading books written by an outsider to Islam.
