Very nice, had a small scratch that I fixed with a furniture marker.Looks like a well made box that should last a long time. Very durable and stiff. Not flimsy at all.

I was very pleased with the simple elegant container. Excellent finish and quite attractive. I'm not sure what I will use it for at the moment, but who knows it could quite well end up being used for its original purpose.

Beautifully made box for my Wife’s remains to be buried with me and my pets. What more can I say about a small box beautifully made.

Nice wood

It is beautiful and it was reasonable in price. I used it for my fiance's ashes. I only received a portion of his ashes, so this was the perfect size.

I bought this for the remaining ashes of my late father. His ashes were initially put into small test-tube like vials for his biker friends to scatter while on motorcycle trips, but that was only a small amount overall and I needed to keep the rest in something simple, but classic, beautiful and respectful. I felt that this fit the bill for that purpose. I am very happy with the look, materials, and craftsmanship. It is not especially thick or heavy, which is nice in terms of not having to lift something heavy, but also makes me worry a bit for the sturdiness factor, if for any reason it was dropped or fell from where we plan to keep it. I also thought there would be a screw to keep it closed, but there is not one, although it says it should have one in the description of the product details. I was a bit disappointed in that part. Overall, though, I recommend it.

The box is beautiful and well made. However, the description which said a medium would be large enough was incorrect - the ashes from a 115# person did not fit in the box so I returned it.
