Kings Brand Furniture Twin Size White Metal Roll Out Trundle Bed Frame for Daybed

First time I tried to put it together, I did not receive any hardware so I had to return and replace this item. I decided to replace it because I could tell it was sturdy and exactly what I needed. It took less than a week and I received a complete item. The assembly was very easy for this 60 year old. The directions were easy to follow and they had diagrams and written directions which is unusual now a days. All the holes for the bolts were centered and precise. Slides easily under existing daybed and I have enough room to add an 8 inch mattress and still slide underneath bed. It should be able to go under most beds since the base including wheels is 4 inches tall. I thought it was a great price and am happy I bought it.

This was relatively cheap, it fit the standard mattress that I already had, and it fit under the twin sized daybed nicely. It was also pretty easy to put together much easier than the daybed that I purchased it to fit under, I think it only took about twenty minutes, though there was some problems with some of the parts not fitting together correctly. I initially had some trouble, as I recall getting the frame to fit together, as two of the pieces that were supposed to connect did not line up correctly, but I was able to deal with that by disassembling their "identical" counterparts and switching them around. So far it has only been used a few times by my 5 year old nephew, so I am not sure how it will hold up, but it seems like a pretty good little bed for the price.

This trundle seems to be well made, and was easy to assemble after a trip to HD. We did not receive any screws, lock washers , washers or tools as stated in the instruction guide. It is easy to maneuver due to the casters, and the paint is shiny and smooth to the touch. I seems to hold the mattress and weight well. We would purchase it again. If anything changes we will update this review.

The media could not be loaded. Inexpensive, great for a kid but maybe a bit too lightweight for an adult. Easy to put together. Rolls under the bunk bed no problem.

This trundle frame arrived quickly, was easy to assemble, and it with the twin mattress on top fits perfectly under my son's bunk bed, so we can pull it out easily when their friends sleep over.

We set it up today and have hardwood floors, so it slides easily. My girl was laying on the trundle, dropped a toy under the daybed, and stuck her head under the daybed to get it. My son didn't see and flopped down on the trundle, sliding it several inches, pushing her neck up against the daybed frame. I screamed and moved it quickly. We are throwing it away. There are no locks on the wheels. The product itself is sturdy and seems good quality, but I can't recommend for a home w/kids or child visitors. May be less of an issue on carpets, but slides very easily on hardwood floors; my son is barely 45 lbs (five years) and it moved quite a bit without him even really intending it to. Am very shaken.

This item was shipped quickly, arriving 4 or 5 days before the expected delivery date. The frame was easy to assemble and slides right under the bunk bed we have. It provides a great, out of the way, solution for the slumber parties that seem to happen every weekend! It is sturdy and easily supports children. We tested it out and it seems capable of supporting the average adult as well. Check your clearance where you intend to store this - you may need to use a thinner mattress than the normal spring or tempurpedic ones. We are using a thin foam mattress from ikea and it works perfectly with this trundle frame.

My daughter wanted bunk beds, but because they are so difficult to make up, I suggested getting a trundle instead for her twin bed. I wasn’t sure if this would fit under her Malm IKEA low profile twin bed, but it fits perfectly.It took less than an hour to assemble. The instructions were easy to understand and the steps were simple. I still need to find the right mattress but I think the trundle will work perfectly for us.Update: an adult size person can definitely feel the slats under a foam mattress. Because it’s for an approximately 50 lb. kid, who doesn’t have as much impact on the bed, it still works for us, but this is kind of a problem. Wider slats or more slats would really help the design.
