Meets my expectations
It's exactly like the picture. It's really nice and the closing/opening aspect is a tight fit. It would definitely take some time for it to loosen up to easily open. 10/10 would buy again.

Very nicely made and a great size for small items.

Adequate for my needs
There is no subtle way to say this; I use these boxes to hold cat ashes. They come back from the vet in these awful plastic containers, and I transfer them to carved wooden jewelry boxes. And they work great for that. If you want to store the cremated remains of a small pet, this is a good, inexpensive option. If you want to use it for jewelry or keepsakes, you might want to look elsewhere. The workmanship is meh; I had to glue the lid shut because it wouldn't stay closed, and it had a strong smell. You might get lucky and get a better one, but you might not.
