Great overalls great price
These overalls are great. They fit perfect to my jean size (same size as my jeans (36X32)) but even better. The strap hardware fastener design is perfect and innovative to. I ran them several times in the dryer with no breakage, bends or warping. The fasteners are easy to fasten and unfasten. Also they fasteners stay together even when there is slack like for sitting. The bib snap pockets are great for a phone (as long as the pocket is snapped shut when unhooking). The pockets are deep enough for keys, wallet, and plenty of left over spots for tools, gloves, and the hammer loop works perfectly for a hammer. The side buttons are also cut properly to get in and out of them easy. They are also easy to kneel in and sit in not confining or binding in the waist. The shipping took 4 days via the supersaver shipping. They also came packaged well. Looks like that the package would survive a lot more then the normal shipper.Overall great purchase will buy again in the future.People who are having problems with keeping jeans up doing yard work or DIY should invest in these.

By these overalls!! My last pair lasted 20 years
Carhartt always makes a good product, & their overalls didn't disappoint they fit great (as expected size wise), they have quality buckles, buttons, generous pockets (we all hate when we are working & something falls out of our pockets & that's not gonna happen with Carhartt) although they are brand new they were comfortable right out of the box. They are reasonably priced & the value of Carhartt brand means they will be around for 20 years like my other Carhartt overalls lasted!!

Comfortable & Well Made
I've worn bib overalls for many of my 70 years on earth. I know what I like in them and what I don't. So far I like everything about Carhartt overalls. The fit is perfect as I can't even tell they are on me. The (new to me) closure hasps are remarkably easy to fasten and hold everything perfectly. Kudos to Carhartt! I ordered a 2nd pair which I have on while writing this review! I love these overalls and look forward to them lasting a long long time. :)

Overall pleased.
I usually wear a 34 length. These Carhartts seem a touch longer than my 34 Liberty's. Liberty pants pockets are much more generous, back and front. I prefer them. But the Carhartt's have the watch pocket which I like. The shoulder strap is attached with a clip in attachment. It's OK, but I prefer the loop and button. A bonus to the loop and button in Carhartts is that you can snap them into the chest pockets buttons when washing and they don't bang around as much. (Carhartt's lined bibs used to have these, don't know if they still do.) Chest pockets on the Carhartts, as others have said, are too small to be useful for just about anything (except the laundry thing if shoulder straps had loop and button). I prefer the Liberty chest pockets (unless Carhartt were to go back to the loop and button), although they have their own issues. And I rarely use the chest pockets in any case. The hammer loop on the Liberty is MUCH bigger than on the Carhartts. It's easier to find but I have had hammers fall out of it. I prefer the Carhartts but it can be tricky to find some times. A compromise between the two would be preferable. The utility side pockets on the Liberty, again, are more generous than on the Carhartts. But both pretty much hold what you need. Overall, I've owned and used Carhartts for years and years and I've bought LIbertys for years and years. Carhartts seem much more durable, but at an added expense. Don't think you'd go wrong with either.

Order 1 to 2 waist sizes up--not what it says in listing, but it's on a sticker on the overalls!
I combed through all the information in the description and reviews in terms of sizing before ordering, and it says on a photo in the description to buy your usual size for this style, but when we got the overalls, there was a sticker on them that literally said to buy one to two sizes up. Which would have been perfect and good to know ahead of time. Fortunately, I had also ordered the Carhartt relaxed fit duck bib overalls (which you DO buy your usual size for) and he loved them. I would recommend ordering 1 size up on these for a basic good fit, and 2 sizes up if you need more working room. The rivets at mid-section were far too tight to even close. The length measurement however was spot-on, so do order your usual inseam. I hope they fix the listing! Otherwise, these seem nice, but I don't think he's going to exchange them, as the duck overalls are great for working in. These denim ones are probably good for general wear though, and made well.
