Good book

It helps me to prepare DELE.

I took DELE C1 last month. I don't yet know if I passed (it takes about 3 months to get results) but I had two months to prepare, and did all the practice exams in this book. I felt prepared as much as I could be with my command of Spanish, and didn't waste time on figuring out what to do next, thanks to this book. It is critical that you also buy the answer booklet (including all text transcripts of audios), it is only a few dollars more; I feel the book+answers was worth it. I feel the practice exams were very similar to the actual tasks on the DELE exam, and some might have been a bit harder, which is a good thing. One thing that was not so similar were written tasks. One of the two written tasks on DELE is to write an essay from the prompt that may often contain graphs and charts. Not a single task in the book had any charts and graphs, but the actual exam did. I also used the only other prep guide El Cronometro, which I liked a bit less, as I didn't have time to do anything else but the actual practice exams (El Chronometro has a lot of in-between preparation tasks which could have been more useful if I had more time and was not working full time). El Cronometro contained the answers in the book but not the transcripts, they provided an online link to go to and find the transcript, but I never got around using this so that was a negative for me. One better thing that El Chronometro had was a long list (over 200) of multiple choice with colloquial expressions that I found really useful. This book doesn't have them. It really is a collection of practice tests with answers and explanations. It did a good job for me. To compare with El Cronometro, I will say if you have much more time, get El Chronometro, but if you just need to practice and get an idea, this is a good book. There isn't much on a market (compare to SAT!), so I was grateful to have this guide. I agree with another review that the CDs often fell out of pockets; but at some point I simply have taped on a self-made flap, and the problem was solved. It took me 2 min. If the CD pocket had a flap to begin with it would be great, but that's minor.

This is totally unlike the DELE prep activities that my teacher gave me, which I think were from 2011. I can't imagine the test changes so drastically from one year to the next. Also, I had a problem with the CD's, which kept falling out of their sleeves every time I picked up the book or put it down. I tried to order the CD, they told me no, they would have to order an entire new book and that I'd get it the next day. That was almost a week ago and I still haven't received it. So, unfortunately I haven't been able to prepare for the listening part of the exam. The exercises are good and challenging but I feel like there could be more variety.

Follows exam well. But, you have to buy the answer book separately, or you're stuck. Don't get one without the other. Also, to get the recordings, you need to get a Google account with all of its attendant privacy violations - date of birth, etc. Disgusting. Just send a CD or a link to MP3s independent of Google or other data harvesting companies.

There are no answers available to the test. Do not like this.

Rimane il miglior libro in commercio per la preparazione al DELE. Chiaramente per l'esame bisogna integrare con altri contenuti. Le simulazioni non sono mai abbastanza!

I like the fact that it had a way to download the Audio CD for the exercises as you need it for them. It is a good book to prep you for the Dele exam

Una buena ayuda para preparar el examen, tanto alumnos como profesores. Contiene 6 exámenes tipo, 6 páginas temáticas de voabulario que los alumnos deberían saber/aprender para el test y guía para ayudar a evitar errores en los ejercicios (comentarios sobre cómo afrontar cada uno).

Diese Übungen decken alles ab sowohl comprensión lectora, comprensión auditiva, als auch gramática, frases idiomaticas, expresión escrita, etc. Im Vergleich jeweils zu anderen Lehrbüchern der gleichen Niveaustufe, ist hier wirklich ein hoher Schwierigkeitsgrad gegeben, sowie ein immenses Vokabular aus allen Themenbereichen und Wissensgebieten zu bewältigen. All dies bereitet optimal auf Studium und Prüfung vor.
